【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 断面が正方形の角柱形の振動子を対角線が
直交XYZ座標のX軸およびY軸に対応するよう
に配置した場合に、X軸またはY軸方向に励振さ
せ、Z軸回りに回転したときに、Y軸またはX軸
方向に発生したコリオリの力による振動を検出し
て角速度を検出する角速度センサにおいて、前記
座標の第1象限から第4象限に配置される第1か
ら第4の面の内で第1の面と第4の面の稜線と第
2の面と第3の面の稜線の双方または一方をカツ
トした振動子と、前記振動子の第1の面のX軸側
に配置された第1の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第
1の面のY軸側に配置された第2の圧電素子と、
前記振動子の第2の面のY軸側に配置された第3
の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第2の面のX軸側に
配置された第4の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第3
の面のX軸側に配置された第5の圧電素子と、前
記振動子の第3の面のY軸側に配置された第6の
圧電素子と、前記振動子の第4の面のY軸側に配
置された第7の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第4の
面のX軸側に配置された第8の圧電素子とから構
成したことを特徴とする角速度センサ。 (2) 前記第1、第4、第5、第8の圧電素子は
駆動側の圧電素子であり、前記第2、第3、第6
