Claims

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 断面が正方形の角柱形の振動子を対角線が
直交ＸＹＺ座標のＸ軸およびＹ軸に対応するよう
に配置した場合に、Ｘ軸またはＹ軸方向に励振さ
せ、Ｚ軸回りに回転したときに、Ｙ軸またはＸ軸
方向に発生したコリオリの力による振動を検出し
て角速度を検出する角速度センサにおいて、前記
座標の第１象限から第４象限に配置される第１か
ら第４の面の内で第１の面と第４の面の稜線と第
２の面と第３の面の稜線の双方または一方をカツ
トした振動子と、前記振動子の第１の面のＸ軸側
に配置された第１の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第
１の面のＹ軸側に配置された第２の圧電素子と、
前記振動子の第２の面のＹ軸側に配置された第３
の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第２の面のＸ軸側に
配置された第４の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第３
の面のＸ軸側に配置された第５の圧電素子と、前
記振動子の第３の面のＹ軸側に配置された第６の
圧電素子と、前記振動子の第４の面のＹ軸側に配
置された第７の圧電素子と、前記振動子の第４の
面のＸ軸側に配置された第８の圧電素子とから構
成したことを特徴とする角速度センサ。 (2) 前記第１、第４、第５、第８の圧電素子は
駆動側の圧電素子であり、前記第２、第３、第６
、第７の圧電素子は検出側の圧電素子であること

、第７の圧電素子は駆動側の圧電素子であること
