[Conventional technology] Gas sterilization methods using ethylene oxide gas, etc. are often used to sterilize medical instruments, but the packaging bags for gas sterilization that have been used traditionally are made of synthetic resin film and paper, non-woven fabric, etc. It is generally made of a breathable material. A typical example is Utility Model Act 44-2383.
As disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 8, a tubular tape made of a breathable material is sandwiched between the ends of a folded film for sealing, and as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-528.12, There is one in which the film is folded and a tape-shaped breathable member is glued to the end. However, these products require a large number of steps because they involve folding a flat film into a bag shape and sealing the edges.
Continuous production requires complicated and expensive equipment, which poses a problem in terms of economy.

Therefore, in order to solve these problems, the applicant of the present application uses a tubular film that has been previously manufactured by an inflation method, etc., makes a cut in one place, and attaches a breathable member on top of the tubular film. He invented a method and filed a patent application as Japanese Patent Application No. 54-142795 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 56-67246).

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the above method, the manufacturing process is greatly simplified and economically advantageous, but there is still room for improvement. In other words, the packaging bag mentioned above has only one cut and the size of the breathable material B is subject to process constraints, so the ventilation speed is insufficient for relatively large bags, making it difficult to introduce and discharge sterilizing gas. There was a problem that it didn't come smoothly. In addition, the breathable material used is a rectangular sheet with adhesive applied to the periphery in the shape of a window frame, so in order to continuously affix it over the notch, it is necessary to continuously supply the breathable material. There was a problem in that a complicated device was required for positioning the affixed part.

The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a packaging bag that is easy to manufacture and excellent in terms of economy, and a method for manufacturing the same. Another object is to provide a packaging bag with a large ventilation area.

[Means for solving the problem] The packaging bag of the present invention is a bag formed by cutting a tubular film into a predetermined length and heat-sealing the opening. Cuts are provided continuously or intermittently as through holes for gas to pass through, and a bacteria-preventing and breathable sheet is provided on the outer surface of the bag over the entire axial length of the tubular film to cover the cuts. are thermally bonded at both ends with a heat-sensitive adhesive.

The production of such a packaging bag involves the steps of continuously supplying a bacteria-preventing and breathable sheet and applying heat-sensitive adhesive to the surfaces of both ends, and cutting in the axial direction while continuously supplying a tubular film. a step of superimposing and thermally bonding the breathable sheet on the outer surface so as to cover the cut portion of the tubular film; and a step of heat-sealing the tubular film to which the breathable sheet has been thermally bonded perpendicularly to the axial direction. By combining the process and the process of cutting the tubular film perpendicularly to the axial direction,
can do.

[Function] In the packaging bag of the present invention, the object to be sterilized is placed in the bag, and the opening is sealed together with the breathable sheet to seal the bag. Therefore, when introducing sterilizing gas into the bag, the gas always passes through the breathable sheet and is introduced into the bag through the notch. After sterilization is performed by keeping the gas introduced for a certain period of time, the gas is discharged to complete the sterilization.

FIG. 1 is a front view of an embodiment of the packaging bag for gas sterilization of the present invention. As can be seen from the figure, the bag 1 is formed by cutting a tubular film manufactured by an inflation method or the like into a predetermined length, and heat sealing 4 one side 2 of the opening 2.3.

There is no particular restriction on the size, etc., and it may be in the shape of a single continuous line or a cross. In addition, the cuts do not need to be provided in one row, and can be made in two or more rows, but unless they are provided continuously or intermittently in the axial direction of the tubular film, it will not be possible to cover them with a breathable sheet using the manufacturing method described later. This is not desirable as it becomes difficult. A breathable sheet 6 is glued onto the cut-out area. The sheet 6 is bonded using a heat-sensitive adhesive applied to both ends 7, 7° of the breathable sheet. The heat-sensitive adhesive used at this time needs to have an adhesion temperature lower than the melting point of the synthetic resin constituting the bag.

If the bonding temperature is higher than the melting point, the bag may be thermally deformed, which is not preferable. In addition, although breathable bags can be bonded by heat fusing, in this case, the top and bottom surfaces of the tube-shaped film will be welded together and the bag will lose its function, so this method should not be used. I can't. Therefore, the use of a heat-sensitive adhesive in the present invention has an important meaning. As the heat-sensitive adhesive, emulsion type adhesives are preferably used, and polyolefin type adhesives are particularly preferred. As the material for the tubular film, polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene can be preferably used.

When using the sterilization packaging bag of the present invention to sterilize objects such as medical instruments, place the objects into the bag through the opening 3 and heat them together with the breathable sheet in the same manner as in step 4. Seal, seal, and sterilize.

Next, a method for manufacturing a packaging bag for gas sterilization according to the present invention will be explained. FIG. 2(a) is a front view schematically showing the manufacturing process. The tubular film 11 is wound into a roll as shown on the left side of the figure, and is continuously supplied. Then, a cut 5 is made on one side of the film using a roll cutter 13.

Next, the breathable sheet 12, which has been coated with heat-sensitive adhesive on both ends and rolled into a roll, is continuously supplied and placed in the preheater 1.
After preheating in step 4, the film is superimposed on the tubular film 11 via roller 15, and the two are bonded together by heating and pressing with heat roller 16. Finally, a heat sealing device 17 seals the bottom portion of the bag, and a cuckoo 18 cuts the portion adjacent to the sealed portion to manufacture the bag. Figure 2 (,b)
is a bottom view showing the state of these materials in parallel with the process. By referring to the figures (a) and (b), the manufacturing process can be easily understood.

[Effects of the Invention] As is clear from Figure 2, the packaging bag for gas sterilization of the present invention has a simpler manufacturing process and can be produced continuously at high speed compared to conventional ones, so it is significantly more economical. It will be advantageous. In addition, since the gas permeation area can be increased,
Sterilizing gas can be introduced and discharged smoothly, and the bag will not break during discharge. Furthermore, since a stamping means can be provided during the manufacturing process to continuously stamp the loft number, etc., the process from bag manufacturing to sterilization can be simplified.
