Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a method through which ferromagnetic body powder is dispersed uniformly and productivity is improved, by forming undercuts to a spool lock bush section and a disk gate section and using a mold to which a block movable in the direction of mold opening by inserting a spring is mounted. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor yoke 1 is insert-molded through a disk gate system by employing a molding material in which ferromagnetic body powder is contained in a thermoplastic resin, a spool lock bush section 5 and a disk gate section 7 are undercut, and a mold to which a block 3 movable in the direction of mold opening by inserting springs 2 is set up is used. When the molding material is loaded through the disk gate system and cooled for a fixed time to open the mold, the block 3 pushes a product section 4 in the direction of the arrow by the springs 2. (従  来  技  術) 従来よりプラスチック磁石の製造方法において、ザイド
ゲート方式、ピンポイント方式などが、金型構造が容易
であり、生産性が高いために多く用いられてきた。しか
しながら成形後得られたプラスチック磁石を多極に@磁
すると、成形品のゲート部及びウェルド部の磁力が乱れ
るという欠点があり、高度な着磁精度を要求される磁気
式エンコーダ等には使用できなかった。またインサート
したローターヨークの内側から樹脂を充填するディスク
ゲート方式を用いると多極着磁後、4ノイドゲ一ト方式
、ピンポイントゲート方式では避けられなかったゲート
部及びウェルド部の磁力の乱れがなくなり、強磁性体粉
末を均一に分散さVだ成形品か得られる事も知られてい
る。しかしながらディスクゲート方式を用いた場合、従
来より用いられてきた第3図のような金型侶進を用いる
と成形後金型から取り出された成形品は、第4図に示す
ようにディスクゲート部(9)と製品部(10)が一体
化しているためディスクゲート部(9)と製品部(10
)を第5図のように切り離す必要があるために、切削治
具等を用いた後加工が必要となり、このため生産性が極
めて悪く製品コストが大巾に上がるという欠点があった

ツシュ部とディスクゲート部にアンダーカットを設け、
且つスプリングを入れる事により型開き方向に移動可能
なブロックを設けた金型を使用する事により、成形後、
後加工する事なくディスクゲート部と製品部を容易に切
り離す事が可能になるとの知見を得、更にこの知見に基
ずき種々研究を進めて本発明を完成するに至ったもので
ある。その目的とする所は、成形品の強磁性体粉末の分
散が均一で、且つ生産性が良好なるディスクゲート方式
でのプラスチック磁石の製造方法である。

りブロック3が製品部4を、第2図に示す矢印の方向に
押しつけているため、外周にアンダーカットを持たない
ローターヨークを用いても、製品部4がローターヨーり
1からはずれる事なく、ディスクゲート部と製品部を切
り離す事ができるのである。

スクゲート方式を用いて行う際、ディスクゲート方式の
欠点であったディスクゲート部と製品部の切り離しを後
加工する事なくできるのでまた得られたプラスチック磁
石は、ディスクグー1〜方式を用いているため強磁性体
粉末が均一に分散されてあり、従来サイドゲート方式や
ピンポイントゲート方式での成形品に比べ磁石を多極化
した際の磁力が均一になるため、磁気式エンコーダー等
にも使用可能となり工業的なプラスチック磁石の製造方
法として好適である。
