DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an antenna device installed in a communication ground station in a low latitude region so as to point toward a geostationary satellite, and particularly to a polar mount type antenna device. A polar mount type antenna device is rotatably supported around two axes. One axis is parallel to the earth's axis and is called the fixed axis. The other axes are perpendicular to this and are called movable axes. The main axis of the main reflector of the antenna device, that is, the axis that should be directed toward the satellite, is orthogonal to the movable axis. When installing the antenna device, the main reflector is rotated around both axes to direct it to the target satellite.

In the conventional polar mount system, the antenna part is supported by the support part at three points. Normally, the main reflector of this type of antenna part is approximately circular, so select three points equally spaced in the circumferential direction of this mounting member, for example, the mounting ring, and attach the fixed axis along a straight line passing through two of the points. was established. Therefore, the feed horn and the like protruding from the center of the antenna section to the support section sometimes interfere with the movement of the antenna section when adjusting the pointing towards the satellite. Therefore, in order to secure the space necessary for the movement of this antenna section, the number of support sections was set at four points. Furthermore, when changing the target satellite, it was not easy to adjust the rotation around the fixed axis because three points had to be supported at all times.

This embodiment also consists of an antenna section and a support section that supports the antenna section. The antenna section has a main reflecting mirror, a sub-reflecting mirror placed opposite to the main reflecting mirror, and an electromagnetic horn placed opposite to the sub-reflecting mirror for supplying and receiving radio waves. The support part supports the antenna part at four points so as to be rotatable around two straight lines H and D.

Movable support fittings 21, 22, 23, and 24 are fixed to four foundations installed to support the antenna section. For example, one end of variable length struts 13 and 14 is attached to the metal fitting 22, and the other end is pivotally connected to two points on the support frame 10. Movable support fittings 8 and 9 are provided at these two points to rotatably support the mounting ring 5 at the two points. This axis of rotation is a straight line D passing through the metal fittings 8 and 9, and corresponds to the movable axis.

The first and second support points on the mounting ring to which the support fittings 8 and 9 are attached are substantially on a straight line passing through the center of the ring, and the ring to which the strut 6 and the support rod 61 are respectively pivoted is located on a straight line passing through the center of the ring. The upper third and fourth support points lie substantially on a straight line orthogonal to this straight line.

First, the lengths of the struts 13 and 14 are changed around the straight line H. Next, the length of the strut 6 is changed and the antenna section is rotated around the straight line D to direct it to the satellite.

The lengths of the struts 15 and 16 are made variable, and the fixed axes are adjusted to be parallel to the earth's axis when installing the antenna device. Therefore, essentially only three variable length struts 13, 14, 6 are needed to direct the antenna to the satellite. Other struts may be of fixed length.

In addition, if the satellite to be pointed to changes, etc., the length of the struts 13 and 14 can be changed, and if necessary, one end of each of the struts attached to the metal fitting 22 can be replaced with the metal fitting 21 to locate the satellite. Can easily handle change.

For example, if you want to direct the antenna to a satellite in the eastern sky instead of a satellite in the western sky, first change the lengths of struts 13 and 14, make straight line D horizontal, and then attach one end of strut 14 to metal fitting 22. Replace the bracket 21 with the strut 13.
Replace it in the same way and adjust its length,
The strut 6 can achieve its purpose with only minor adjustments. Therefore, the antenna directional range can be doubled compared to the conventional antenna. Moreover, because of this structure, not only the above-mentioned work but also the disassembly of the support part can be carried out by a small number of people without any danger by disassembling it in the reverse order of assembly.

Also, on the straight line passing through the metal fittings 8 and 9, and on the straight line passing through the metal fittings 8 and 9,
Since no axis exists on the straight line passing through 12, it is possible to easily secure a space for a protruding object from the antenna section.
