43−30979号があるが、この消弧装置は開閉接触
部に設けたコ字形の強磁板の側方のアーク放出口
に冷却用金網を設けたもので、この構造ではアー
クが強磁板と金網の空間を介して金網全面でアー
クが外部に放出されることになる。前記の従来例
の消弧装置では、グリツド、金網でアークが弱め
るが、アークが直接外部に放出される危険性があ
り外部端子で短絡事故を起こす欠点があつた。

れているが、アークが開閉接触部内にこもるとア
ーク熱、アーク圧力の影響で開閉性能を低下さ
せ、アークを直接外部に放出させると外部端子で
短絡事故を起こす等の問題があつた。

利用してアークを消滅させるようにしてアークガ
スが直接外部に出る量を少なくし、又端子部にも
アークが被ることなく消弧出来るよう改良したも
のである。
