Generally, in a rope traction elevator, as the elevator car rises and falls, the length of the hoisting rope on the car side and the counterweight side differs, so that the weight of the hoisting rope causes an imbalance between the car side hoisting load and the counterweight side hoisting load acting on the hoist as well as the live load. Therefore, in order to correct the imbalance caused by the weight of the hoisting rope, a counterweight chain having approximately the same length and unit weight as the hoisting rope is usually connected at one end to the bottom of the car and the other end to the bottom of the counterweight, and suspended in the hoistway.

However, in special elevators in which an intermediate beam is located in the hoistway between the car and the counterweight, it has been difficult to provide a counterbalance chain. This problem will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, which show an embodiment of this invention. In these figures, 1 is a hoistway, 2 is a hoisting machine, 3 is a hoisting rope, 4 is a cage, 5 is a counterweight, 6 is a counterbalance chain, and 7 is an intermediate beam. When such an elevator is operated, the suspension point interval A between the car 4 and the counterweight 5 of the balance chain 6 becomes equal to the intermediate beam 7.
is wider than a normal elevator, which is not located in the hoistway 1, so the balance chain 6 swings a lot, and the intermediate beam 7
The problem is that the noise caused by the contact can be heard by people inside the car 4 or in the elevator hall, giving them a sense of anxiety. Therefore,
Conventionally, in such elevators, the output of the motor of the hoisting machine 2 is increased without providing the balancing chain 6, or the sheave of the hoisting machine 2 is made larger in order to increase the traction capacity of the hoisting machine 2. This allows the car 4 to move up and down stably even if the hoisting rope 3 is unbalanced. However, this method has disadvantages in that the hoisting machine 2 becomes larger, the manufacturing cost increases, and the power consumption increases.

This invention is an attempt to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and the intermediate beam interposed between the car and the counterweight has a mounting plate made of a metal plate that has a soundproofing function on the surface and has good wear resistance. By providing a steady rest plate with a sliding material and a cushioning material with a vibration absorption function on the back of the mounting plate, the balance chain can be installed without any problems even in elevators where the intermediate beam is in the hoistway. The object of the present invention is to provide a counterbalancing chain device for use in the present invention.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. In these figures, 1 is an elevator hoistway, 2 is a hoisting machine, and 3 is a main rope wrapped around the hoisting machine 2. 4 is a cage, and 5 is a counterweight, which are connected to both ends of the main rope 3 and suspended by the hoisting machine 2. Reference numeral 6 indicates a balance chain that is connected at both ends to the lower part of the car 4 and the counterweight 5 and is suspended below these, and 7 is an intermediate beam, which is fixed at both ends to the wall of the hoistway 1 and is connected to the lower part of the car 4 and the counterweight 5. 4 and the counterweight 5. Reference numeral 8 denotes a steady rest device, and this device 8 has a steady rest plate 9 suspended between them at positions corresponding to the balancing chains 6 on both sides facing the cage 4 of the intermediate beam 7 and the balancing beam 5. Tightening bolt 10 and nut 10a
It is removably tightened and fixed. The surface layer of the steady rest plate 9 facing the balance chain 6 is formed of a sliding material 9a made of polyurethane rubber or the like, which generates little sliding noise when sliding against the balance chain 6 and has good abrasion resistance. ing. Further, the back layer of the steady rest plate 9 that is supported in contact with the intermediate beam 7 is formed of a cushioning material 9b made of rubber or the like having a vibration absorbing function.
The vibrations generated when the balance chain 6 swings and comes into contact with the sliding member 9a are prevented from being transmitted to the intermediate beam 7.
Further, between the sliding material 9a and the cushioning material 9b, a mounting plate 9c made of a metal plate is integrally fixed to the sliding material 9a and the cushioning material 9b.
is mediated.

By providing the steady rest device 8 configured as described above on each intermediate beam 7 of the hoistway 1, the balance chain 6 swings and comes into contact with the steady rest plate 9 while the car 4 is going up and down. Even if the sliding material 9a
and the cushioning material 9b reduce the contact noise of the balancing chain 6, and also prevent the transmission of vibrations to the intermediate beam 7. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the anxiety of the people riding in the car 4, and to prevent vibrations and noises from being transmitted to living rooms adjacent to the hoistway 1.

In addition, in the embodiment described above, the intermediate beam 7
Since this varies depending on the structure of the building, the steady rest plate 9 is provided with a number of mounting holes (not shown) for tightening bolts 10 so that it can be mounted to intermediate beams of various sizes.

In addition, since the steady rest device 8 is attached to the intermediate beam 7 with the steady rest plate 9 sandwiched between the tightening bolts 10, there is no need for a mounting hole in the intermediate beam of the building. Another advantage is that it eliminates the complicated administrative procedures of requesting someone to drill a mounting hole.

As explained above, in an elevator in which an intermediate beam is placed between the car and the counterweight, the soundproofing function is installed on the surface of the mounting plate made of metal plate at the position corresponding to the balance chain on both sides of the intermediate beam. A steady rest plate is arranged on the back side of the mounting plate, and the mounting plate is removably supported on the intermediate beam via the cushioning material. Since it is fixed, the contact sound when the balance chain contacts is reduced by the sliding material, and the shock and impact at the time of contact are reduced.
Vibrations can be alleviated and absorbed by the cushioning material, and in this case, the two layers of the sliding material and the cushioning material, which are made of different materials, mainly perform the functions described above, so that the sliding material and the cushioning material can be made of materials suitable for each function. Therefore, compared to trying to perform each of the above-mentioned functions with a single layer, this invention improves soundproofing, buffering, and vibration absorption, and reduces noise when the balance chain comes into contact with the anti-sway plate. By being able to reliably prevent vibrations from being transmitted to the elevator hall or the living room adjacent to the hoistway, a counterbalancing chain can also be provided in elevators with intermediate beams in the hoistway. The motor of the upper machine and its sheave can be made smaller, reducing manufacturing costs and power consumption, as well as reducing the space in the machine room.
