ヤプスタン４ａ，４ｂならびにリール駆動ギヤ１

ル駆動ギヤ１１の回転方向に応じて首振り動作し
、一対のリール台２ａ，２ｂに設けられた一対の
リールギヤ３ａ，３ｂに対して選択的に噛み合う
アイドルギヤ１５と、 移動自在に支持され且つ前記一対のリールギヤ
３ａ，３ｂのいずれか一方と前記アイドルギヤ１
５との双方に噛み合う方向へ付勢されているギヤ
５０と、 前記ギヤ５０が一方のリールギヤとアイドルギ
ヤとの双方へ噛み合う方向へ移動するのを規制す
る規制部７１および前記アイドルギヤ１５がギヤ
５０と噛み合わない側のリールギヤの方向へ首振
り動作するのを阻止する規制部７２とを有してい
る規制レバー７０と、 ノーマルプレイモードとリバースプレイモード
のいずれかのモードへの切換え時に、規制部７１
がギヤ５０のリールギヤ方向への移動を許容し且
つ規制部７２がアイドルギヤ１５の首振り動作を
規制する位置へ、前記規制レバー７０を移動させ
