When paper sheets (banknotes) are held by the conveyor belt (conveyor belt) K, the folded area is held by the conveyor belt, and when the paper sheets are collectively held from this belt by the holding mechanism, and the receiving and passing is carried out, the belt is used to hold the paper sheets (banknotes). If you try to clamp the same part as the clamping part, you must release the paper sheet from the belt and hold it in this state. If the paper sheet is strongly folded, it will be released from the belt. In this case, the paper sheets had a large starting and ending point, which caused poor alignment when the paper sheets were held. If the alignment is poor, paper sheets are likely to be conveyed incorrectly in the next process.

An object of the present invention is to securely and reliably hold and receive stacked paper sheets at once without disturbing alignment.

The purpose of the above is to transport the paper sheets using a conveying means such as a conveyor belt and deposit the sheets in a pressed state on the stacking section, from where the paper sheets are piled up in a pressed state when being transferred. This is achieved by holding them all together.

In other words, when paper sheets are initially stacked in the stacker, they are held flat even if they have folds, and when receiving and passing paper sheets from there, the paper sheets in this flat state are held between the stackers. By clamping it with a mechanism and then releasing the hold on the stacker, it can be taken out from the stacker without disturbing the alignment.

When taking out paper sheets from the stacking section during delivery, the stacking section presses the folded parts of the paper sheets, so the thickness of the stacked paper sheets other than the folded parts is held down without bulging. Since the holding parts and edges are the same, the paper sheet holding mechanism can reliably hold the paper sheets without disturbing the alignment or catching the paper sheets.

There are various possible ways in which banknotes may be folded, but the most common ones are as shown in Figures 4(a) and 4(b). When transporting such banknotes, the transport belts should be as shown in Figure 5 (for two transport belts) or as shown in Figure 5 (for three transport belts).
As shown in b), the folded portions C of the four folds are arranged so that they can be held and conveyed by the conveyor belt 31 (the negative portion is shown cut away). In this way, by holding the folded part of the banknote with the belt, the folded part of the banknote is stretched out and becomes flat, so that the edge of the banknote does not touch other mechanical parts such as a kite during transportation. There is almost no possibility of the banknotes being touched, which is a good condition for high-speed conveyance of banknotes.

On the other hand, the bill holding mechanism has a structure as shown in FIG. The fixed finger 1 serves as a pace 9, and a busy drive motor 3 is attached thereto. In the opening operation of the movable finger 2, the cam 4 attached to the drive motor 3 rotates in the direction of the arrow to drive the cam follower 5, so that the two pairs of links 6 move toward each other, and the movable finger 2 rises. After the movable finger 2 reaches the stop position *''r (Fig. 2), the sensor 7 detects the stop position t of the finger 2 by the movement of the sensor plate 8, and turns off the #motor 3. Link 6 is pivotally supported at the base of the fixed finger l, and the sensor 7 has receiving and emitting elements, and a sensor plate 8 is interposed between these elements.Sensor plate 7 is fixed to a common shaft with the cam 4.

Next, regarding the closing operation of the movable finger 2, the drive motor 3 rotates, and after the movable finger 2 reaches the lower stop position (Fig. 3), the sensor 7 stops the finger 2 by the movement of the sensor plate 8. The desired position is detected and the drive motor 3 is turned off. The clamping force for banknotes is provided by the link 6 and the spring 9 hooked on the pivot shaft of the link.

After the banknote stacking is completed, the paper holding mechanism described above enters the stacker 22a, 22cKj17 at the back for handing over, and picks up the unpressed and unbroken part of the bell) 31. to hold. After the banknotes are clamped, the stacker side releases the banknotes. Specifically, the bell 31 rises in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 7 to remove the banknote presser. As a result, the bill is completely clamped only by the uppermost leaf clamping mechanism, and the transfer is completed.

In this embodiment, the banknote holding mechanism can hold the banknotes held by the belt, and as a result, the banknotes can be received and delivered stably without disturbing the alignment. Also, if the folded part of the paper sheet is not a clean fold, but a complicated fold from a fallen tree and is wide,
A situation arises in which the end of the coin jumps up over this part.
