[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a switch device, and its purpose is to maintain a sufficiently high contact (contact) pressure between the switch contacts, in other words, the spring pressure of the switch contacts, especially in leaf switches. The purpose is to eliminate poor contact between the contact pieces.

Taking the leaf switch shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 as an example, a conventional switch device has two switch contact pieces 1 and 2 arranged almost parallel to each other and have contact points 1a and 2a facing each other at their tips. Their rear ends are held by a base 3 made of synthetic resin. This switch is fixed to a fixed board by inserting a screw into the mounting hole 3a of the base 3, and the operating members 4a and 4b are arranged so as to sandwich the two switch contact pieces 1 and 2 between them. If the actuating members 4a and 4b can be moved together upwards and downwards in the figure, the switch contacts 1 and 2
is displaced as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and the switch changes from the OFF state to the ON state.

However, this type of switch device causes the following problems. In other words, the length from the roots of switch contacts 1 and 2 to contacts 1a and 2a
If l 1 is not made sufficiently larger than the amount of movement l 2 of the switch contact pieces 2 or 1 when the actuating members 4a, 4b are moved, when the switch contact pieces 1, 2 are bent, their roots or The bending stress applied to the connection with the base 3 increases, and as the switch is repeatedly turned on and off, the switch contacts 1 and 2 may break at their bases due to fatigue. Therefore, l 1 is sufficiently longer than l 2 . If this is done, the length l1 of the switch contacts 1 and 2 will be longer than the length of the base 3, which will cause the switch contacts 1 and 2 to warp, resulting in incorrect positions of the contacts 1a and 2a. As a result, the on/off characteristics of the switch vary, creating the problem that it is difficult to obtain a switch with stable characteristics.

Also, as is clear from the drawing, when the switch contacts 1 and 2 are bent, the contact pressure between the contacts 1a and 2a, so-called contact pressure, is generated only when the contact pieces 1 and 2 are bent by a certain amount. be. The above contact pressure is generated in proportion to the amount of deflection l3 of the switch contact piece 1 or 2, but this l3 is larger than the previous l2 at the contact point 1a,
The distance b between 2a is shorter. Since this inter-contact distance b needs to be a certain length, the contact pressure decreases by that amount, which is one of the causes of contact failure. The contact pressure is usually about 5 to 50 grams, but a sufficiently high pressure is desired to remove oxide films, sulfide films, dust, etc. that are formed on the contact surfaces during repeated contact.

In particular, recently, devices have become smaller and space within the device is limited, so it is important to use a switch device that is small enough to provide sufficient contact pressure, and the switch contact piece will not break with repeated use. What is required is something that will never be lost.

The present invention satisfies these requirements, and one embodiment thereof will be described below with reference to the drawings from FIG. 5 onwards. In these drawings, the same components as in FIGS. 1 to 4 are given the same numbers and detailed explanations are omitted, but as is clear from the drawings, the differences are that the synthetic resin base 3 is The switch contact pieces 1 and 2 are integrally provided with protrusions 5 and 6 that come into contact with their outer surfaces. Because of this configuration,
When the actuating members 4a, 4b move as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 and bend the switch contact pieces 1, 2, the switch contact pieces 2 are brought into contact with the actuating members 4b or 4a.
Alternatively, the switch contact piece 1 or 1 is bent in the same manner as in the conventional case, but the switch contact piece 1 or 2 that is pushed and bent by the bent switch contact piece 2 or 1 has its base portion pressed against the protrusion 5 or 6. It is made to bend. In other words, one switch contact piece that is directly acted on by the actuating member is deflected by a length of l 1 , and in order to generate a contact pressure, the other switch contact piece is bent by a length of l 1 minus the height of the protrusions 5 and 6. Deflects by a length of l 4 .

Therefore, if the amount of movement of the operating members 4a, 4b is always constant, a contact pressure higher than that of the conventional one can be obtained in this embodiment. For example, in Fig. 7, l4 can be determined so that the stress applied to switch contact 1 is approximately equal to the stress applied to switch contact 2, so that if the amount of movement of the operating members is the same as in the conventional one, a high switch contact pressure can be obtained, and if this contact pressure is made the same as in the conventional one, the amount of movement of the operating members can be made smaller. Incidentally, in the above embodiment, a switch with two switch contacts has been described, but a switch with three switch contacts can also be used.
The above can also be applied to the above. In short, it is sufficient that when one of the two switch contacts constituting one switch circuit is bent so as to come into contact with the other contact, the base portion of the other contact is pressed against the protruding portion and bent.

As explained above, the switch device of the present invention has a very simple structure in which a protrusion is provided on the base, and the switch contact piece is brought into contact with the protrusion and flexed, and a sufficiently high contact pressure can be achieved. To provide a switch device that can be held and reliably turns on and off at a low cost. In addition, since the protrusion provided on the base contacts the outside of the base of the two switch contacts, the switch device uses the two switch contacts alternately on the movable side and the fixed side with the reciprocating actuating member. In this process, one switch contact piece is greatly bent, and the other switch contact piece is slightly bent, and the protrusion comes into contact with the outer root of the other switch contact piece, which is slightly bent, to prevent repeated bending stress. Fatigue phenomena caused by this can also be kept to a minimum.
