【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は裏面に金属色蒸着を施したフオトクロ
ミツクガラスを時刻表示片として文字板ベースに
取り付けたことを特徴とする時計用文字板に関す

やめると退色(もとの無色にもどる)する性質を
もつ例えば感光性のハロゲン化銀コロイド粒子を
含むハロゲン化銀ガラスなどのフオトクロミツク
ガラス1を例えば直方体又は円柱等の形状の時刻
表示片に成形する。表面は鏡面状態が好ましい。
さらに前記フオトクロミツクガラス1の裏面に真
空蒸着法により例えば金あるいはクロム、アルミ
ニウム等の金属色蒸着2を施し文字板ベース4に
接着固定する。文字板ベースへの固定方法の他の
方法として第2図に示すような文字板ベース4に
固定するためのピン足を設けた台座5に前記金属
色蒸着を施したフオトクロミツクガラスを接着又
はカシメにより固定し前記台座5を文字板ベース
4に接着又はカシメにより固定することもでき
る。以上本考案によれば例えば紫外線の量が少な
い室内等においてはフオトクロミツクガラスが退
色し無色透明に近い色となり裏面に蒸着により施
した金属色を生かした時刻表示片となり屋外にお
いては紫外線が照射されることにより前記フオト
クロミツクガラスが暗化し例えば焦げ茶色のよう
な濃い色の貴石調の時刻表示片に変化し時刻表示
片のデザイン的多様性が可能になり、さらに文字
板ベースの表面仕上と組合せることにより時計用
文字板のデザイン的バラエテイの幅を向上させ且
つフアツシヨン化志向に対応できる従来にない新
