Abstract

PURPOSE:To record an image onto the whole surface of recording paper by forming a photosensitive body on the surface of a separating belt in a recording paper carrying system. CONSTITUTION:A drum 1 rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow A, and by following it, a separating belt 2 runs circularly against a roller 3. When an optical image is made incident on the drum 1 and the separating belt 2 between an electrifying corotron 4 and a developing device 5, an electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive body of the drum 1 and the separating belt 2, and transferred onto recording paper 9 after a development by a toner in the same way as the case of a conventional device. In such a case, the electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive body of the separating belt 2, as well, therefore, the toner development is transferred to a part contacting the separating belt 2 of the recording paper 9, as well.
