This elastic support mount 1 is composed of a metal collar 4 that is fixed to a support member 3 such as a vehicle body panel with a bolt 2, and a substantially cylindrical rubber member 5 that is held via the collar 4. The rubber member 5 has a through hole 6 in the center thereof through which the collar 4 is inserted, and its overall height is slightly larger than that of the collar 4. In the installed state, the collar 4 is held in a slightly compressed state between the flange portion 7 at one end of the collar 4 and the support member 3. A bolt 2 is provided approximately at the center of the outer peripheral surface of the rubber member 5.
A bracket fitting groove 8 is recessed around the entire circumference along a plane orthogonal to the bracket, and a peripheral edge 9a of a mounting hole of a plate-shaped bracket 9 provided in, for example, a car stereo is fitted into the groove. There is. That is, the bracket 9 is connected to the rubber member 5.
By being supported by a support member 3 such as a vehicle body panel through the support member 3, transmission of vehicle body photography and the like is prevented. (Refer to Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-22343) Problems to be Solved by the Invention The bracket fitting groove 8 in the rubber member 5 is slightly smaller than the plate thickness depending on the plate thickness of the bracket 9. It is formed into a rectangular cross-section with a width, and is adapted to fit relatively tightly with the bracket 9.

It is impossible to set the spring constant in the two axial directions of the bolt sufficiently small, especially in the region where the displacement is small, and there is room for improvement in terms of vibration damping performance.

Therefore, even if the plate thicknesses of the brackets differ somewhat, this can be tolerated and they can be fitted together.
また、変位が小さい領域でのばね定数が小さくなる。Moreover, the spring constant becomes small in a region where the displacement is small.

A bracket fitting groove 8 is recessed around the entire circumference approximately at the center of the outer peripheral surface, and a gap 11 having a substantially circular cross section is formed at the bottom of the bracket fitting groove 8 over the entire circumference. ing. This gap 11 has an opening width t of the bracket fitting groove 8.
The shape is expanded in the axial direction of the bolt 2.

Therefore, even if the thickness of the bracket 9 is relatively thin (Fig. 2), if it is relatively thick (Fig. 3).
Even if there are brackets 9 of different thicknesses, the same type of elastic support mount 1 can be used. Since the tip of the bracket 9 is separated from the rubber member 5 due to the existence of the cavity 11, the load-deflection characteristics in the two axial directions of the bolt are as shown in Fig. 4, and the displacement is smaller than that of the conventional product. The spring constant can be made sufficiently small in the region where is small. As a result, an even better vibration damping effect can be obtained compared to the conventional one.

Particularly in this embodiment, both end surfaces 12 and 13 that come into pressure contact with the flange portion 7 and the support member 3 are each formed into a gentle conical surface, and large diameter portions 14 are provided at both ends of the through hole 6, respectively. The large diameter portion 14 is arranged so as not to contact the outer circumferential surface of the collar 4. Therefore, the outer circumferential portion of the rubber member 5 that clamps the bracket 9 can be relatively freely displaced in the axial direction of the bolt, thereby making it possible to further reduce the spring constant.

There is also the side effect of increasing the strength of the mold because the part is thicker.

Further, since the spring constant can be set small in a region where displacement is small, an excellent vibration damping effect can be obtained while suppressing excessive displacement.
