a is supported in contact with a bearing 19 at the upper end of the dehydration shaft 13. In addition, the upper end of this washing shaft 18 is connected to the cylindrical body 1
A sealing member 20 attached to the inside of the upper end of 6 is inserted therethrough and projects upward. Reference numeral 21 denotes a pulley, on which a cylinder shaft 22 is integrally provided, and this cylinder shaft 22
is fitted onto the lower end of the washing shaft 18, and the pulley 21 is connected to the motor by a belt 23.
24 is a clutch spring, which is the dehydration shaft 13
It is wound so as to straddle between the lower end of the cylinder shaft 22 and the cylinder shaft 22. Reference numeral 25 denotes a sleeve that is loosely fitted to the clutch spring 24, and has a groove 25a formed on its inner periphery in which the lower winding end 24a of the clutch spring 24 engages, and a large number of engagement teeth 26 protruding from its outer periphery. By engaging and disengaging the control lever 27 whose operating source is an electromagnetic device (not shown) with the engagement teeth 26, the clutch spring 24 is switched between a state in which winding cannot be tightened and a state in which winding is free. The dehydration shafts 13 are switched between a disconnected state and a connected state. 28 is a brake drum that is fitted and fixed to the lower end of the dehydration shaft 13; 29 is an annular brake band with an end that is tightly wound around the outer periphery of the brake drum 28;
The clutch spring 24 and the clutch spring 24 are also controlled by a control lever 27, and when the control lever 27 comes into contact with the claw piece 29a, the brake drum 28 is prevented from rotating integrally with the brake drum 28, thereby braking the brake drum 28. On the other hand, 30 is a circular recess formed at the bottom of the rotary tank 5 and having an open lower surface closed by a bottom plate 31, which is eccentric from the center of the rotary tank 5 by a predetermined distance. The lower half of the recess 30 is formed to have a slightly smaller diameter, and an annular step 30a is formed approximately in the middle, and a plurality of pairs of protrusions 32, 32 are intermittently protruded from the step 30a. A plurality of engagement holes 33 corresponding to one of the engagement mechanisms are formed. The bottom plate 31 is fixed to the mounting base 5a of the rotary tank 5 and the lower end of the circumferential wall of the recess 30 with screws 34. A through hole 3 is provided in a predetermined portion of the bottom plate 31 (a portion corresponding to the center of the rotating tank 5).

The rotary tank 5 is fitted onto the cylindrical body 16 of No. 3 and fastened to the flange portion 15 with bolts 36, thereby directly connecting the rotary tank 5 to the dewatering shaft 13. Reference numeral 37 denotes a drive gear, which is fitted onto the upper end of the washing shaft 18 protruding into the recess 30 of the rotary tub 5 and fixed by a screw 38. Reference numeral 39 denotes a plastic pulsator, on the lower surface of which is integrally provided an internal gear 41 that forms a gear mechanism 40 together with the drive gear 35, and a flange 42 is formed on the outer periphery of the pulsator over the entire circumference. . Reference numeral 43 denotes a sliding bearing as a rotational support member, which is made of wear-resistant plastic, for example, and is attached to the flange 4 of the pulsator 39.
2 is formed in a substantially U-shape in cross section to hold it from above and below. Therefore, the pulsator 39 has its flange 4
2, a plurality of slide bearings 43 are intermittently fitted into
The internal gear 41 is rotatably supported on the stepped portion 30a so that the internal gear 41 meshes with the driving gear 37. As a result, the receiving surface of the arcuate groove of the sliding bearing 43 supports the flange 42 on the outer peripheral edge of the pulsator 39, and the rising wall surface at the back of the arcuate groove contacts the outside of the flange 42, preventing the pulsator 39 from moving in the radial direction. It is regulated. Reference numeral 44 denotes an annular cover made of plastic, for example, from which elastic claw pieces 45, which constitute an engagement mechanism together with the engagement hole 33 of the stepped portion 30a, are intermittently protruded. The annular cover 44 is removably attached by engaging with the matching hole 33, thereby press-fixing the sliding bearings 43 disposed intermittently on the step portion 30a, and also fixing the inner peripheral surface of the recess 30 between the sliding bearings 43. The gap between the pulsator 39 and the pulsator 39 is closed from above. still,
46 is a communication port formed at the bottom of the rotary tank 5, 47 is a strainer that covers the communication port 46, 48 is a communication hole formed in the bottom plate 33, and 49 is a drain tube formed integrally at the bottom of the water receiving tank 3. So, this drain pipe 4
9 is connected to a drain hose 51 via a drain valve 50, so that the water in the water receiving tank 3 and the rotary tank 5 can be discharged to the outside of the machine via the drain hose 51.

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be explained. When laundry is put into the rotating tub 5 together with detergent and the time switch 9 is set, a water supply valve (not shown) opens and water is supplied into the rotating tub 5. When a predetermined water level is reached, a water level switch (not shown) is activated. Based on this, the water supply valve is closed and the motor is started. and,
In this state, the electromagnetic device is in operation, and the brake band 29 is kept in the braking state via the control lever 27, and the clutch spring 24 is held in the uncoupled state.
8 only. The rotation of the washing shaft 18 is controlled by the pulsator 3 through the drive gear 37 and the internal gear 41.
9, which causes the pulsator 39 to rotate and perform detergent washing. When this washing with detergent is completed, the water in the water receiving tank 3 and the rotary tank 5 is drained through the drain hose 51, followed by a draining process, followed by a dewatering process. In this dewatering process, the electromagnet device is cut off, the brake band 29 is in a non-braking state, the clutch spring 24 is in a connected state, and at the same time the motor is started, so that the rotating tank 5
is rotated at high speed via a dewatering shaft 13, and the detergent-containing water in the laundry is centrifugally dehydrated. and,
After this, water is stored in the rotating tank 5 again and the pulsator 3
The rinsing process, draining process, and dewatering process of driving the pump 9 are repeated multiple times in order to complete the entire process.

In this way, in this embodiment, the pulsator 39 is rotatably supported at its outer periphery with radial movement restricted, so the expensive stainless steel shaft that was conventionally provided at the center of the pulsator is unnecessary. Therefore, manufacturing costs can be reduced.
In this case, if the slide bearings 43 are provided intermittently around the pulsator 39 as in this embodiment, the amount of material used for the slide bearings 43 can be reduced compared to the case where the slide bearings 43 are provided around the entire circumference, and the manufacturing cost can be further reduced. can be reduced.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, since the annular cover 44 is attached from above the slide bearings 43, the gap between the recess 30 and the pulsator 39 that occurs intermittently between the slide bearings 43 can be closed from above. From here, foreign matter such as sand adhering to the laundry may enter the recess 30 of the rotating tub 5, causing abnormal wear on the internal gear 41 and drive gear 37, or the laundry may get stuck in the gap. This can prevent fabric damage. Further, since this annular cover 44 is detachably attached to the rotating tank 5 by an engagement mechanism consisting of an elastic claw piece 45 and an engagement hole 33, the sliding bearing 43 can be fixed by the annular cover 44.
Therefore, by removing the annular cover 44, the sliding bearing 43 and, in turn, the pulsator 39 can be easily removed, which is convenient for repairs and inspections.

FIGS. 5 and 6 each show another embodiment of the present invention, and the difference from the previous embodiment lies in that the rotary support member in both embodiments is composed of a plurality of rollers. That is, in FIG. 5, reference numeral 54 denotes a roller, which has a groove 54a formed around its entire circumference, and whose rotating shaft 55 is pivotally supported at both upper and lower ends by the step 30a of the recess 30 and the annular cover 44, so that it is connected to the rotating tank 5. It is rotatably supported. A plurality of such rollers 54 are provided intermittently on the stepped portion 30a, and the flange portion 42 of the pulsator 39 is inserted and supported in the groove 54a, thereby rotatably supporting the pulsator 39. Further, in FIG. 6, reference numeral 56 denotes a roller, which is rotatably attached to a shaft portion 57 which is provided intermittently on the lower surface of the outer peripheral edge of the pulsator 39 with a screw 58. The roller 56 has a portion projecting toward the outer circumference of the pulsator 39 placed on the stepped portion 30a of the recess 30, and is covered with an annular cover 44 from above.
