この考案は、旅行かばんやスポーツ用かばんと
して、あるいはその他日常持ち歩くのに用いられ
る用途の広いかばんに関するものである。従来の
この種のかばんの場合、かばんの通常のサイズを
越えた物を収納できなかつたり、収納物の取り出
し口が上部に限られていたり、不要の際にも折り
たためなかつたりする等の不便があり、その不便
自体がかばん本来の構造によるものであるとして
改良が試みられることもほとんどなかつたのであ
る。そこでこの考案は、従来のかばんの概念を一
掃し、かばんの通常のサイズを越えた大きな物を
も便利に収納でき、収納物をかばんの横（マチ）
側からも出し入れでき、その上不要の際には嵩低
く折りたたむことができしかも様々な形状に対応
して容易に生産できるかばんを提供することを目
