Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform precise positional adjustment of a screen form of each printing station and whereby enable continuous printing without any shift of each color pattern by printing on a member to be marked in a positional relationship which is equal to a relative positional relationship between the original position of a screen form to be arranged after the second printing station and the arrangement position of a detection means. CONSTITUTION:A sensitive mark which a detection means 11 arranged outside a screen form 9b of a printing station 5b becomes a sensitive mark Mx which is printed simultaneously with the printing of the first color pattern 8 in a segmented part 7X. Consequently, the positional relationship between each segmented part 7 and a sensitive mark M which is printed at the same time as printing into each segmented part 7 at the first printing station 5a, is always maintained to a prearranged distance L. Consequently, the position of the screen form 9b is horizontally adjusted by means of a position adjustment device to meet said segmented part 7X securely. This enables the second color pattern 8 to be superimposed on the first color pattern 8 without any shift.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the conventional method, each printing station d2 after the second printing station. d3. d, when overprinting the second and subsequent color patterns g on each frame, i.e., one portion e, of the printing material C, each screen type f2. r3. The position adjustment of fa is carried out by each detection means j provided on the outside thereof.
For example, the screen mold f2 of the second printing station d2 is placed on the
When printing the color pattern g at the screen type f2, the sensing mark detected by the detection means j of the screen type f2 is not the sensing mark ix printed at the same time as the frame portion ex, but is printed at the first printing station d1 following the frame portion ex. Since the sensing mark iy is printed at the same time as the subsequent frame division part ey printed by , the interval l between the frame division part ex and the sensing mark iy
changes, and even if the position of the screen mold f2 is adjusted based on this sensing mark iy, the screen mold f2 does not exactly match the frame division part ex, and as a result, it is overprinted on each frame division part e. There is an inconvenience in that each predetermined color pattern g is misaligned. The present invention solves such conventional disadvantages, and even when the printing material moves intermittently, even if the interval between each frame portion of the printing material varies due to a feed accuracy error, each frame portion of the printing material after the second printing station To accurately adjust the position of a screen type of a printing station so that each color pattern can be printed continuously without shifting.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the first invention includes a method in which a long sheet-like printing material is moved intermittently in its longitudinal direction, and intervals are provided in the moving direction of the printing material. This is a continuous screen printing method in which predetermined color patterns are overprinted on each frame portion of the printing material using screen molds in multiple stages of front and back printing stations arranged in front and back, and the margins of the printing material are A sensing mark is printed at the same time as the color pattern is printed at the first printing station at the forefront of the marking member, which is made of a tape that is moved intermittently in synchronization with the part or printing material, and each printing from the second printing station onwards. In a station in which a color pattern is printed by adjusting the position of the screen mold from a predetermined origin position in response to a detection signal from a detection means for a sensing mark placed outside the screen mold, the sensing mark is placed at the first position. With respect to the frame portion to be printed at the printing station, printing is performed on the member to be marked in a positional relationship equal to the relative positional relationship between the origin position of the screen type placed at each printing station after the second printing station and the placement position of the detection means. It is characterized by the following.

(Function) It is equal to the relative positional relationship between the origin position of the screen type placed at each printing station after the second printing station and the placement position of the detection means with respect to the frame portion where the sensing mark is printed at the first printing station. Since the marking is done on the member to be marked based on the positional relationship, when each printing station after the second printing station prints on the frame section, the sensing mark detected by the detection means is printed at the first printing station for the frame section. This is a sensing mark that is printed at the same time as printing, and the positional relationship between the corresponding panel portion and the sensing mark is determined by the interval between each panel portion of the printing material due to feeding accuracy error when the printing material moves intermittently. Even if variations occur, they are kept constant, and the position of the screen molds of each printing station after the second printing station can be accurately adjusted.

Also, it is conceivable to make the screen mold of the first printing station larger than the screen mold of each printing station after the second printing station, and to incorporate the printing part of the sensing mark into the enlarged screen mold of the first printing station. However, when such a large screen is used, the printed area of the screen that prints on the frame sections becomes small compared to the size of the screen, making it difficult to accurately place the printed area within the screen mold. Furthermore, the sensing mark printed by the printing unit is the same color as the color pattern printed by the first printing station, and due to the restrictions on the allocation of color patterns at each printing station, the color of the sensing mark is not necessarily a color that is easy to detect by the detection means. The detection operation of the detection means may become unstable.

On the other hand, if the printing device is provided outside the screen mold of the first printing station as in the second invention, the screen mold of the first printing station can be made of the same size as the screen molds of other printing stations. Moreover, the color of the sensing mark can be set independently of the color pattern printed at the first printing station, and the above-mentioned problem does not occur.
