As is well known, the main body of a capacitor is usually assembled into a capacitor element assembly by assembling a large number of capacitor elements each made of paper, plastic film, or both of the above and metal foil wound over each other.
The assembly of a conventional capacitor element assembly will be explained with reference to a front view in FIG. 1A and a side view in FIG. 1B. A plurality of capacitor elements 1 are assembled, reinforced with insulators 11 on both sides, and an element assembly iron plate 2 is assembled.
, and then wrap the tightening band 7 around the outer circumferential surface of the capacitor element assembly in the lateral direction, and tighten it together with the element assembly iron plate 2. Note that the tightening band 7 is an insulating band. On the other hand, on the upper surface of the capacitor element assembly, the upper element assembly metal fitting 3 reinforced with insulator 4 is passed over both element assembly iron plates 2, and on the lower surface, the lower element assembly metal fitting 5, insulation reinforced with insulator 6, is passed between the element assembly on both sides. By fixing these to the iron plate 2, the capacitor element assembly is fixed as a whole.

By the way, the upper and lower grouping fittings 3 and 5 are usually made of metal groove steel and have the same potential as the element grouping iron plate 2, so they provide considerable insulation reinforcement for the capacitor elements in the highest voltage area. As explained above, it is necessary to apply an insulator, but the thickness of the collective metal fittings made of metal fittings reinforced with insulation does not contribute much to the insulation between the capacitor element electrode part and the tank, and is wasted. It is a great space. Furthermore, if a round bar is used for the element assembly fitting in order to improve the partial discharge characteristics, the above-mentioned drawbacks will increase.

As explained above, there are problems with the use of conventional element assembly metal fittings, so the present invention uses the laminated surface of the insulating laminated rod, which is made by laminating a large number of insulating plates, on the lower side of the capacitor element assembly. It is arranged in a direction perpendicular to the lower surface of the capacitor element assembly, and is fixed to element assembly iron plates arranged on both sides of the capacitor element assembly using mounting brackets.

FIG. 2 shows a front view of an embodiment of the present invention. As is clear from the figure, insulating laminated rods 8 are used instead of the conventional upper and lower element assembly metal fittings 3 and 5, and bolts are attached to the element assembly iron plates 2 on both sides. It is fixed by a nut 10. This point will be discussed later. Incidentally, the outer circumferential surface of the capacitor element assembly in the lateral direction is tightened with an insulating tightening band 7 similar to that shown in FIG. FIG. 3A shows an example of a configuration in which the lower surface of the capacitor assembly is fixed by the insulating laminated rod 8 from the side, and FIG.
The figure is shown from the front.

In the figure, reference numeral 15 denotes an angle welded to the lower part of the element assembly iron plate 2 facing outward. A mounting bracket 9 is fixed to the lower surface of this angle 15, and holes are drilled at both ends of the insulating laminated rod 8. Then, tighten and fix using the mounting bolts and nuts 10 using the mounting bracket 9. Generally, two or more insulating laminated rods 8 are arranged on each side.

Note that on the upper surface of the capacitor element assembly, the insulating laminated rod 8 may be similarly tightened and fixed to the element assembly iron plate 2 with the laminated surface of the insulating laminated rod 8 in the vertical direction, or horizontally on the upper surface. There is no particular problem since no load is applied to the capacitor element assembly. In any case, it goes without saying that the capacitor element assembly is tightened and fixed while being pressed in the lateral direction.

As explained above, in the present invention, instead of tightening and fixing the capacitor element assembly on the upper and lower surfaces of the capacitor element assembly using element assembly metal fittings reinforced with an insulator, the insulating laminated rod is Since it is used vertically, the functions of assembling the capacitor elements and supporting the weight of the capacitor element assembly are not impaired at all. The insulation distance between the assembly and the tank can be shortened, and there is an effect that there is no wasted space in terms of insulation when using metal rods.
