Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device simple in the fractionating operation of blood, by connecting blood component bags by a connection tube and providing flow passage blocking members making the communication of flow passages possible if necessary to the flow passage of the connection tube and that of a blood component transfer tube. CONSTITUTION:Collected blood is contained in a bag I. The bag I is set to a separation stand 5 and the fluid valve 1 on the side of the bag I is opened and platelet rich plasma PRP is transferred to a bag II while the bag I is quietly pressurized. A point A is sealed and the bag I is cut off at the point A. In the same way, the bag II is set to the separation stand 5 and platelet poor plasma PPP is transferred to a bag III. The connection tube between the bags II-III is pressed and clamped by a finger and the bag II is detached from the separation stand. Points C'.D.D' are sealed and the bags II, III are cut off at the points C'.D. As mentioned above, since the bags are connected in series by connection tubes, blood components are successively sent out and the fractionating operation thereof becomes simple.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, blood is subjected to centrifugation treatment to obtain various blood components such as concentrated red blood cells, concentrated platelet plasma, fresh frozen plasma (fresh liquid plasma), or concentrated red blood cells, creoprecipitate, etc. It is common practice to fractionate each blood component, such as cryo-depleted plasma, in a sealed container. bag (1) and a bag (I) containing blood components to be fractionated from the blood collection bag (I
This is carried out using a device in which the I) and I) are connected by a branched connecting tube. 1. For example, a method based mainly on concentrated platelet plasma is carried out by the following operations.

In this fractionation procedure, it is necessary to attach the strainer to the connecting tube in (①) and to remove it in (■), but this operation of attaching and removing the strainer is not only extremely troublesome, but also causes damage to the bag due to the strainer during centrifugation. Trouble often occurs, such as blood components leaking into other bags due to generation or falling out of the connection tube during centrifugation, and furthermore, when fractionating components from bag (1), blood components are separated from bag (■) and bag. There were drawbacks such as difficulty in distinguishing it from (III), resulting in a loss of one hour.

(Problems to be Solved) As a result of various studies to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the inventors of the present invention found that a fluid valve was used instead of a drain, and each blood bag was connected in series with a blood collection bag using a connecting tube. The inventors have found a way to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks and have completed the present invention. An object of the present invention is to provide a blood fractionation device that facilitates blood fractionation operations.

(Means for Solving the Problems) That is, the present invention includes a blood collection bag connected to a blood collection needle via a tube, and a plurality of blood components arranged in series capable of accommodating fractionated blood components. The blood collection bag and one blood component bag are connected by a connecting tube, and each blood component separation bag is connected by a blood component transfer tube that connects only adjacent blood component separation bags. Blood component fractionation, characterized in that the connecting tube and the blood component transfer tube are connected to each other, and the flow path of the connecting tube and the blood component transfer tube is provided with a flow path sealing member to enable communication between the flow paths as necessary. In the present invention, a plurality of blood bags arranged in series are connected by an unbranched blood component transfer tube, and a blood collection bag passes through each blood bag to reach a terminal blood bag. It is connected to. The fluid valve may then be provided directly on the blood bag or on the connecting tube.

(Effects) As described above, in the present invention, each bag is connected in series with a connecting tube, so each blood component is sent out sequentially, which simplifies the fractionation operation. By discontinuing the old clamp and replacing it with a fluid valve, the damage to the bag caused by the clamp during centrifugation,
By removing the cream, there is no leakage of components.
