り、その目的とするところは、葺足寸法が出しや
すく取付け施工性に優れ、又、外装板の重ね合わ
せ部から雨水が浸入することがなく、しかも外観
に重量感を現出させることができる外装板の取付
け構造を提供することにある。

本考案の外装板の取付け構造は、外装板1の表
面1aの上端部に重ね部2を設けると共に重ね部
2よりも下位に外装板1の上端縁と平行に水切り
溝3を設け、下方の外装板1の重ね部2に上方の
外装板1の下端部を重ねると共に上方の外装板1
の下端縁を下方の外装板1の水切り溝3の上縁よ
りも僅かに下方に位置させて成るものであり、こ
の構成により上記目的が達成されたものである。
即ち、外装板1の取付け施工に際して、水切り溝
3が目印となつて葺足寸法lを出しやすく、施工
性に優れるものであり、又、上方の外装板1の下
端縁を下方の外装板1の水切り溝3の上縁よりも
僅かに下方に位置させているので、外装板1の表
面1aを伝わつて流れてきた雨水は外装板1の下
端縁により水切り処理され、毛細管現象により重
ね部2に浸入することがないものであり、更に、
水切り溝3を外装板1の上端縁と平行に設けてい
るので、重量感を現出させることができるもので
ある。 以下、本考案を添付の図面に示す実施例に基づ
いて説明する。 外装板1は石綿セメント板のような無機質板で
あり、表面1aの上端部を重ね部2としている。
外装板1の重ね部2の下位には幅方向に全長に亘
つて上端縁と平行で下方程深さが浅くなつた水切
り溝3が設けられている。この外装板1は第2図
に示すように鎧張り施工され、下位の外装板1の
重ね部2に上位の外装板1の下端部が重ね合わさ
れる。この場合、水切り溝3が目印となつて葺足
寸法lが出しやすく、又、この水切り溝3により
外装板1の縦方向の寸法誤差を補償することがで
きる。又、上方の外装板1の下端縁は下方の外装
板1の水切り溝3の上縁よりも僅かに下方に位置
させている。従つて、外装板1の表面1aを伝わ
つて流れてきた雨水は外装板1の下端縁により水
切り処理され、毛細管現象により重ね部2に浸入
することがない。尚、予め上位の外装板1の側端
面に下位の外装板1の上端が位置する重ね合わせ
用目印を設けておくことにより重ね合わせがより
容易となる。 第3図に示すように外装板1の両側端部は1/2
厚ずつ切欠いて合いじやくり部4,5が形成され
ており、施工に際し、両隣の外装板1を合いじや
くり張りしている。一方の合いじやくり部4の接
合面4aは外装板1の中央に行く程外装板1の表
面1a側に向かつて傾斜したテーパ状となつてお
り、隣接する外装板1の側端部を合いじやくりさ
せた際に一定の隙間6が形成され、雨水の逃げ路
としている。 次に、施工順序を具体的に説明する。 第4図に示すように、まず枠組み7にアスフア
ルトフエルト8が貼着され、壁下地Aが形成され
る。そして水切りジヨイナー9が使用される場合
には、基礎部10の水平基準墨から水切りジヨイ
ナー9の取付け位置aが測定され、墨打ちされ
る。次いで、この打墨に合わせて水切りジヨイナ
ー9が取付けられ、下地材11に最下位の外装板
1の下端を釘12打ち固定し、両隣の外装板1と
は合いじやくりされ、最下位の外装板1の重ね部
2に上位の外装板1の下端部が水切り溝3を目印
にして重ね合わされ、重ね合せ部13で釘12打
ち固定される。このようにして順次外装板1が壁
下地Aに固定され、外壁が形成される。尚、第4
図bは水切り片9aが最下位の外装板1の表面と
面一となる水切りジヨイナー9を使用した施工例
である。水切りジヨイナー9を使用しない場合に
は第4図cに示すように基礎部10の水平基準墨
から最下位の外装板1の上端位置bを測定し、墨
打ちされる。この場合、外装板1の下端部が基礎
部10の前面の上部を覆うようにされる。次い
で、打墨に合わせて最下位の外装板1の下端部が
釘12打ちされ、下地材11に固定され、基礎部
10の前面の上部が覆われ、下端部が水切り板と
して機能する。その後、上記と同様にして外壁が

つて葺足寸法を出しやすく、又、水切り溝により
外装板の縦方向の寸法誤差を吸収でき、施工性に
優れるものであり、又、上方の外装板の下端縁を
下方の外装板の水切り溝の上縁よりも僅かに下方
に位置させているので、外装板の表面を伝わつて
流れてきた雨水は外装板の下端縁により水切り処
理され、毛細管現象により重ね部に浸入すること
がないものであり、更に、水切り溝が外装板の上
端縁と平行に設けているので、重量感を現出させ
ることができるものである。
