Abstract

PURPOSE:To wind up a film even if there is no spool by temporarily setting the end of the film around a winding shaft, then rotating the winding shaft under the temporary fitting state. CONSTITUTION:When the end part of the film F reaches the upper face of the winding shaft, the end part is temporarily fitted to many small holes 11 formed on the outer periphery of the shaft by vacuum adsorption. When a driving source is driven and the winding shaft is rotated in an arrow direction, the film F temporarily fitted to the shaft is wound around the winding shaft and rolled. When the outer periphery of the rolled film F is covered with a chuck 12 after ending the winding, an air suction device stops its operation, the temporary fitting state is released and a gripping means is receded. Since the diameter of the check 12 is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the roll-like film F, the film F is expanded by its elasticity, stuck to the inside of the chuck 12 and floated from the outer periphery of the winding shaft 1. When the chuck 12 is receded along the winding shaft, the film F locked with the chuck 12 is removed from the winding shaft.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a film winding method suitable for obtaining a roll film without using a winding core such as a spool.

Recently, the film has been loaded in advance by the manufacturer,
There is a simple camera in which the camera itself is broken and the film inside can be taken out after taking pictures of all the frames of the interior film. In the case of such a camera, in order to simplify the mechanism as much as possible, it is desirable to omit a mechanism for rewinding the film wound into the winding chamber into the cartridge after all the frames have been shot. To do this, a light-tight container (an empty cartridge may be used) is also provided on the winding chamber side of the camera, and the film is wound into this container in sequence, and after all frames have been shot, the film is inserted. It is most preferable to take out the light-tight container and hang it in the processing machine, but in conventional film cartridges, the end of the film is the spool.
Because it was fixed to the camera, it was not possible to fully wind the film into the light-tight container on the winding chamber side of the camera. Therefore, as an emergency measure, I pulled out as much film as possible from the film-filled Libertrone in a dark room or in a light-tight device, and rolled it into the spool in the empty cartridge I had prepared in advance without fixing the tip, which made it full. I had no choice but to adopt a method of loading the cartridge into the camera's rewind chamber and then loading the empty cartridge into the winding chamber.

しかしながら、この巻直し方法はかなり面倒であった。However, this rewinding method was quite troublesome.

Therefore, if you make a roll of film that does not have a spool from the beginning, or even if there is a spool but the end of the film is not fixed to it, and pack this into a nostrone, you will not need to rewind it, and you will be able to use it in a patrone. It is also possible to pack the film directly into the rewind chamber of the camera in a pulled-wound state without packing it.

However, conventional film winders cannot wind the film unless the end of the film is fixed to the spool with tape or the like.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a winding shaft for winding a film F, which is an object to be wound. The winding shaft 1 rotates through a bearing 5 in a housing 4 fixed to a machine frame 2 with screws 3. It is attached so as to pass through the center of the rotating body 6 which is freely held. Therefore, when the rotating body 6 is rotated by the drive source 8 connected via the gear 7, the winding shaft 1 also rotates integrally with the rotating body 6. Reference numeral 9 denotes a film guide whose base end is fitted and fixed into a concave groove 6' at the end of the rotating body 6.

That is, the winding shaft 1 is formed hollow, its inner cavity 1a is communicated with the air suction device 10, and a large number of small holes 1) are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the winding shaft 1 communicating with the inner cavity 1a. The end portion of the film F is configured to be vacuum suctioned by the operation of the air suction device 10.

Therefore, when the end of the film F, which has been conveyed through a chute (not shown) after completing the pre-processing process of a film perforator or the like, reaches the upper surface of the winding shaft 1 as shown in FIG. The end of the is a large number of small holes provided on its outer circumferential surface1)
It will be temporarily attached by vacuum suction. After that,
When the drive source 8 is actuated to rotate the take-up shaft 1 in the direction of the arrow, the temporarily attached film F is wound around the take-up shaft 1 and becomes a roll as shown in FIG. In this case, it goes without saying that back tension is applied to the film F to be wound up, and at the end of winding, it is gripped by a gripping means (not shown) to prevent it from being rewound.

After winding is completed, when the outer periphery of the rolled film is covered with the chuck 12, the operation of the air suction device 10 is stopped, the temporary attachment state is released, and the gripping means is retracted. Since this chuck 12 has a diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the roll-shaped film, the film which has been released from the temporarily attached state expands due to its own elasticity and adheres closely to the inner surface of the chuck 12, and at the same time, the film rolls onto the winding shaft 1. Therefore, when the chuck 12 is moved back along the winding shaft 1, the film is detached from the winding shaft while being anchored to the chuck 12.

FIG. 3 shows a second example of means for temporarily attaching the end of the film F to the winding shaft 1, in which a slit 13 is provided vertically from the end surface 1' of the winding shaft 1, and The end of the film F is inserted into the holder. In this case, a sensor or the like detects that the film F, which has been conveyed from the pre-processing process through a chute (not shown), enters the slit 13, and the drive source 8 is actuated by the detection signal to move the take-up shaft will be rotated. The subsequent operation is similar to the first example described above.
