The planar heater proposed by the present inventors includes a heater covering layer made of hollow material provided on a hollow substrate,
In addition, the heater coating layer has a structure in which a heater element made of a smooth mesh metal foil body and a part of an electric number υ output terminal plate connected to this heater element and made of a metal foil body are buried. Problems to be Solved by the Invention The conventional method of fixing a heater element to a hollow substrate is to form an electrically insulating layer on the hollow substrate, place the heater element on top of it, and then apply a cover coat. The method involved applying a layer by a method such as spraying to cover the heater element, and then drying and baking to fix the heater element to the hollow substrate. Such a method has problems of poor workability and low productivity. In other words, since the heater element is a collection of thin wires, it is mechanically very weak, and therefore cannot be handled easily. This caused defects.

After fixing with a paste consisting of low-melting glass frit and squeegee oil, etc., and drying this, a transfer heater element is formed by cutting into a desired pattern, which is transferred to an insulating substrate, and then fired. By doing so, the squeegee oil is volatilized and the heater element is closely fixed to the insulating substrate with the element coating layer made of low melting glass frit.

The reason is that squeegee oil contains a resin component, so after drying and volatilizing the solvent, the heater element is coated with an element coating layer made of low-melting glass frit that has appropriate flexibility and strength. This is because it is fixed to the mount.

Since the present invention is characterized by a transfer heater element, the manufacturing method thereof will be described first. As shown in FIG. 1, the original plate of the transfer heater element is placed on a mount 1. Adhesive layer 2. Original version of heater element 3. It is composed of an element covering layer 4. The mount 1 is made by pasting thin paper onto a water-absorbing base paper, and pasting a water-soluble polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol, dextrin, or starch on the surface of the thin paper.
