Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the error in regard to the stop target position, by checking speed variation and by stopping power supply to a motor. CONSTITUTION:The output of a speed setting device K is converted into a speed designation code with a speed designation device L. A discrete value readout device A reads out discrete values in proportion to the designated speed from a ROM N in compliance with the output of the speed designation device L. A comparison device B compares the output of the discrete value readout device A with the discrete value into which the rotating signal from a rotating signal detection device F is converted with a discrete value conversion device E, and the deviated discrete value thus obtained is outputted into a value-of-time arithmetic device C. The value-of-time arithmetic device C controls a motor through a drive device D. A stop position signal generation device J counts the stop signal based on the output of a needle position detection device P. When the stop signal is generated, a counter device I counts the signal from a rotating angle detection signal device Q. A speed monitor G stops power supply to a motor M when the rotating signal detected with a rotating signal detection device F shows a remarkable change.

(Prior art) Conventionally, as a method for stopping an electric motor at a target stop position,
When a request to stop the motor occurs, the motor is controlled to a constant low speed, a stop signal is generated just before the stop target position, and the power supply to the motor is stopped when the stop signal is generated, reducing the inertia of the load and It had come to a natural stop due to the inertia of the electric motor.

However, with this method, if a sudden and large load change occurs at low speed just before the power supply to the motor is stopped, the rotational speed at the time of the power supply stop becomes too high, as shown in Figure 1-(a), and the stop position is at the first position. As shown in Figure (b), there was a large deviation compared to the case where there was no sudden load change. This speed change occurs because the response of the load to the control system is delayed.

A rotation signal detection device that detects motor rotation at the same time as a stop position signal is generated checks the amount of speed change, monitors the motor rotation speed immediately after a sudden load occurs, and controls the power supply stop position to the motor. By doing this, it is possible to stop the power supply to the motor before the rotation speed overshoots immediately after a sudden load change.

The counting value reading device A according to the specified speed is a device that reads the counting value corresponding to the specified speed from the storage device (ROM) N in which the counting value corresponding to the specified speed is stored in advance according to the output of the speed specifying device. It is. Comparison device B compares the output of count value reading device A according to the designated speed with the count value converted by count value conversion device E from the rotation signal detected by rotation signal detection device F, and calculates the deviation count value. is output to the time value calculation device C. Time value calculation device C converts the deviation count value from comparator B into a timer value for time control of the power supply to the electric motor. The motor drive device supplies power to the motor M in accordance with the timer value output from the time value calculation device C.
