その振動が異常に増大することは良く知られてい
る。このため従来において、脱水用の回転槽にこ
れと同心状に環状ケースを設けると共に、この環
状ケース内に複数個の鋼球を移動自在に収容した
構成のボールバランサが供されている。即ち、斯
かるボールバランサは、回転槽が共振回転数付近
で回転された場合に鋼球が該回転槽の偏荷重を減
少させる位置に移動される現象を利用したもので
あるが、この構成では、脱水運転の開始及び停止
時に鋼球が互に激しく衝突することが避けられな
いため、脱水運転を行なう都度に耳ざわりな金属
音が発生するという問題点があつた。このような
問題点に対処するために、鋼球に代えてゴム製或
は樹脂製の球体を用いることが考えられている
が、斯ような構成では球体の質量が小さくなつて
しまうため、脱水槽の振動を規制するという本来
の目的を十分に達成し得なくなる欠点がある。ま
た、鋼球の周囲にゴム或は樹脂より成る緩衝層を
形成することも考えられているが、この構成では
鋼球同士の衝突及び鋼球と環状ケースとの間の摩
擦等によつて緩衝層が鋼球から剥離する事態が起
こり易く、その剥離物によつて鋼球の円滑な移動
が妨げられるため、振動規制作用が半減したり、
異常音が発生するという欠点がある。

It has also been considered to form a buffer layer made of rubber or resin around the steel balls, but in this configuration, the buffer layer is created by collisions between the steel balls and friction between the steel balls and the annular case. It is easy for the layer to peel off from the steel ball, and the peeled off material prevents the smooth movement of the steel ball, resulting in the vibration regulation effect being halved.

た構成でありながら、球体の質量を必要なだけ確
保できると共に球体からの剥離物が生じて球体の
円滑な移動が妨げられてしまう虞をなくすことが
できる遠心回転機のボールバランサを提供するに
ある。

あり、具体的には第2図に示す如く、この環状ケ
ース8を回転槽4の上端開口部をその側壁上部と
の間に所定空隙が存するように位置させると共
に、環状ケース8の外周から一体的且つ間欠的に
突設した複数個の突片10を回転槽4の側壁上部
に連結し、斯ようにして該環状ケース8を回転槽
4の上部に取付固定せしめている。さて、11は
環状室9内に移動自在に収容した複数個の球体で
あり、これは第3図に示す如く金属粉たる例えば
鉛系の酸化鉛の粉末11aとゴム11b(または
樹脂でも良い)とを混合することにより形成し、
