Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress generation of large rusk current by turning off all other compressor motors in operation, when a compressor motor once turned off is to be resumed, and by resuming all of the drive motors at one time with specified low output and frequency of inverter. CONSTITUTION:While drive motors 4, 5 of a compressor are in operation, the refrigerating load is decreased, and when one of the pressure switches 9 is actuated, its A-contact 9A is opened. Now the contact 10A of a timer 10 is opened to open the A-contacts 7A1, 7A2 of an electromagnetic switch 7 are both opened, and a drive motor 5 is stopped. Then the refrigerating load is increased again, and the pressure switch 9 is actuated, and its A-contact 9A and B-contact 9B are closed and opened, respectively, the contact 3A of a relay 3 is opened to cause stop of inverter 1. When the set time on timer 10 has passed, the contact 10A is closed, and the A-contacts 7A1, 7A2 are both closed to actuate the relay 3, and the motors 4, 5 are resumed with low output and frequency of inverter 3.

In general, in this type of refrigeration equipment, when starting multiple compressors in the refrigeration equipment, the compressor drive with a large inrush current is required to prevent the inverter that serves as the power source from being required to have an unreasonably large capacity. A so-called soft start method is adopted in which the output frequency of the inverter is gradually increased along with its output from a low value to the rated frequency without directly starting the motor, and finally the motor is operated at full load. has been done.

However, when the refrigeration system is configured to turn on and off some of the multiple refrigeration compressors according to fluctuations in the refrigeration load, conventional operations for stopping and restarting them have been In order to simplify the operation, the electromagnetic switch of the pressure IIa drive motor that performs on-off operation is opened and closed via a pressure switch or temperature switch installed in the refrigeration equipment, and the drive motor is restarted after a temporary stop. Part of this is to use a direct-on starting method. In this case, the inverter that serves as the power source is assumed to turn on and off a maximum of n compressors among the total number of N compressors in the refrigeration equipment to adjust the load due to fluctuations in the refrigerated load. However, 1s = 1 Inrush current ln at direct-on startup of 1 compressor drive motor = Rated current Ko of 1 compressor drive motor - Inverter overload capability coefficient (usually 1.5) Inverter current 10 determined by the required capacity. is required. In that case, the inrush current 1s at the time of direct-on startup of the drive motor reaches 5 to 10 times its rated current In depending on the configuration of the motor, so the on-off operation is performed for the total number N of compressor drive motors of the refrigeration system. The larger the number n of drive motors that perform the above operation, the greater the electric power required for the inverter. Therefore, in the conventional compressor operation control method in which a direct start is performed when the drive motors that perform on-off operations are restarted after a temporary stop, the n drive motors that perform on-off operations are Although we tried to prevent the inverter's output from increasing unreasonably by performing a soft start as described above when starting a normal compressor, the inverter again increased in capacity and size. A problem arises in that this inevitably leads to an increase in the cost of the refrigeration equipment.

In the compressor operation control circuit configured as described above, when the operation switch 2 of the drive electric motors A4 and 5 of each compressor is turned on, the A contacts 8A and 9 of the pressure switches 8 and 9 are turned on.
When A are both closed, the electromagnetic switch 6 operates to close the A contact 6A of the power supply circuit of the drive motor 8!14 and the A contact 6A of the circuit of the inverter operation relay 3. At the same time, the A contact 9 of the pressure switch 9
The timer 10 operates via A I, and after a predetermined period of time (usually about 15 seconds) has elapsed, its contact 10A closes, the electromagnetic switch 7 operates, and the A contact of the power supply circuit of the drive motor 5 is closed. 7A is closed, and in the circuit of the inverter operating electric device 3, the A contact IAt of the electromagnetic switch 7 is closed instead of the B contact 9B of the pressure switch 9 being opened, so the inverter operating relay 3 is activated. The contact 3A is closed and the inverter 1 first supplies its low frequency output to the drive motors 4 and 5 to start them.

Next, while the drive motors 4 and 5 of the compressor are both in operation, when the refrigeration load decreases and the evaporation pressure drops to a predetermined value, the pressure switch 8 remains as it is, but the pressure switch 9 operates.
Since the A contact 9A is opened, the contact 10 of the timer 10

In that case, in the circuit of the inverter operating relay 3, instead of opening the A contact IAZ of the electromagnetic switch 7, the B of the pressure switch 9 is opened.
Since the contact 9B is closed, the contact 3A of the relay 3 remains closed, and the inverter 1 continues its operation, so the drive motor 4 of the continuous operation compressor continues to operate, and the compressor copes with the reduced refrigeration load. Continue to drive as directed.

After that, when the refrigeration load increases again and the evaporation pressure rises, the pressure switch 9 operates again, its A contact 9A closes, and at the same time its B contact 9B opens, and the electromagnetic switch 7 connected in parallel to the B contact 9B opens. Since the A contact 71 also remains open, the contact 3A of the inverter operation relay 3 is opened and the inverter 1 stops operating. As a result, the power supply to the drive motor 4 of the continuous operation compressor, which had been operating up to that point, was interrupted with the A contact 6A of the electromagnetic switch 6 remaining closed, and the entire refrigeration system stopped its operation. It turns out.

However, at that time, the pressure switch 9 has already restarted and the contact 9A has closed, so the timer 10 has restarted, and therefore, approximately 15 seconds after the restart, the contact 10
Since A is closed and its A contacts 7A, , 7A are both closed, the inverter operation relay 3 is again connected to A of the electromagnetic switch 6.
It operates via the contact 6A2 and the A contact IAz of the electromagnetic switch 7, the contact 3A is closed, and the inverter 1 outputs again. As a result, the entire refrigeration system described above stops operating in a very short period of time, approximately 15 seconds, and both the drive motors 4 and 5 of the compressor restart by soft start as described above and perform the specified load operation. become. Therefore, the inverter 1 is used as a power source for the refrigeration equipment, and neither when the drive motor of all the compressors is started nor when the drive motor of the on/off compressor is restarted after being turned off, it does not generate an inrush current unlike in the case of a direct start. No capacity is required.

As explained above, the present invention is directed to a refrigeration system which uses an inverter as its power source and which is configured to operate at a pressure of 1 I
In the operation control method for the I1 machine, when restarting the drive motor of the I1 machine from the OFF state where the above-mentioned on-off operation is performed, the other pressure Il? Turn off all the drive motors of the i machine, restart the drive motors of the compressors all at once at appropriate low outputs and frequencies of the inverters, and increase the output frequency of the inverters together with the output until the rated frequency is reached. By gradually increasing the total pressure '4'r6Ia and finally operating at a predetermined load, the compressor of the refrigeration system can be compressed both during normal startup and when the on/off compressor is restarted. The machine's drive motor is started in the inverter's low-output, low-frequency range and gradually raised to the rated frequency by a so-called soft start, which suppresses the starting current and prevents inrush current from occurring. It does not require a large volume of stirring, and therefore has the effect of reducing the cost of the refrigeration equipment.
