[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a composite engine mount for a vehicle engine, and more specifically, an engine side mounting member and a vehicle body side mounting member are provided at both ends of a cylindrical body made of an elastic material. A diaphragm made of a plate-shaped partition member and an elastic member for a fixedly formed space is disposed, and the space is divided into a first hydraulic fluid chamber located on one side of the partition member and inside the cylinder; partitioned into a second hydraulic fluid chamber located between the other side of the partition member and one side of the diaphragm and communicating with the first hydraulic fluid chamber via an orifice, and a volume correction chamber located on the other side of the diaphragm. The partition member includes a partition plate body that has a hydraulic fluid passage different from the orifice and partitions the two hydraulic fluid chambers, and a partition plate body that is floatingly interposed in the hydraulic fluid passage in the partition plate body and The present invention relates to a composite engine mount for a vehicle engine that includes a plate body and a valve body that opens and closes a hydraulic fluid passage in cooperation with the plate body.

This type of composite engine mount has the function of absorbing low-frequency displacement input with a large amount of displacement to suppress engine vibration caused by uneven road surfaces, and absorbing high-frequency displacement input with a small amount of displacement to suppress engine vibration. It has the functions of suppressing the propagation to the passenger compartment and suppressing the increase in noise inside the vehicle, and has been proposed, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-5376.

By the way, in the composite engine mount shown in the above-mentioned publication, a plate-shaped valve body is used as a valve body that opens and closes a hydraulic fluid passage different from an orifice in cooperation with a partition plate body. For this reason, there is a high possibility that the valve body tilts irregularly during the opening/closing operation and does not properly open/close the hydraulic fluid passage, and the performance obtained by the composite engine mount may not be stable. Furthermore, when the composite engine mount is installed and used at an angle, the weight and buoyancy of the valve body act differently than when the composite engine mount is installed horizontally. In some cases, the desired operation may not be obtained.

In the composite engine mount configured as described above, when there is no relative displacement between the vehicle body and the engine and no displacement input is applied, the ball valve body is in a floating state within the hydraulic fluid passage within the partition plate body. In addition, when a high-frequency displacement input with a small amount of displacement is applied to the compound engine mount, the relative change in the volume of both hydraulic fluid chambers is small and the amount of hydraulic fluid flowing between them is small, so the ball valve body is almost It does not float and communication of the hydraulic fluid passage is maintained. Hydraulic fluid therefore flows through the hydraulic fluid passageway and orifice. Therefore, almost no damping effect occurs, and the cylindrical vibration isolation effect is not impaired, and this vibration isolation effect absorbs high frequency displacement input and suppresses propagation of engine vibration to the passenger compartment.

On the other hand, when a low-frequency displacement input with a large amount of displacement is applied to the compound engine mount, the relative change in the volume of both hydraulic fluid chambers is large and the amount of hydraulic fluid flowing between them is large, so the ball valve body As the hydraulic fluid flows, it floats with almost no resistance and works together with the partition plate to block communication between the hydraulic fluid passages. Therefore, hydraulic fluid flows only through the orifice.
As a result, when a low-frequency displacement input is applied, a large damping effect occurs to absorb the low-frequency displacement input and suppress engine rocking.

In this way, in this composite engine mount, when a high-frequency displacement input is applied, the hydraulic fluid passage is maintained in an open state, and both hydraulic fluid chambers are communicated through the two parallel flow passages of the hydraulic fluid passage and the orifice. In addition, when a low frequency displacement input is applied, the hydraulic fluid passage closes and the two hydraulic fluid chambers communicate only through the orifice, so the opening area of the orifice is Even if the damping effect is set to be optimal for absorbing the input, the vibration-proofing effect of the cylindrical shape will not be impaired.

Thus, the partition member 60 includes a partition plate body 61 that is fluid-tightly held between the upper end side mounting flange 12 of the cylinder body 10 and the lid body 31 of the engine side mounting member 30,
A cylindrical plug 62 is screwed onto the lower end of the lower cylindrical portion 61a of the partition plate body 61 and forms an operating passage together with the partition plate body 61, and a cylindrical plug 62 is inserted into the chamber A formed between the partition plate body 61 and the plug 62. It is composed of a ball valve body 63 and a ball valve body 63. Multiple smaller diameter communication holes 61c, 62c
(orifices) are formed concentrically (in addition,
Since FIG. 1 shows a cross section taken along the - line in FIG. 2, only one of the plurality of communication holes 61c and 62c is shown). On the other hand, the valve body 63 is made of, for example, polypropylene and has approximately the same specific gravity as the hydraulic fluid, and is formed to have a diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the chamber A. This valve body 63 is located in a floating state within the chamber A, and is located in both hydraulic fluid chambers R1 and R.
When there is a large amount of hydraulic fluid flowing between the two, the lower surface of the partition plate body 61 or the plug 62 as the hydraulic fluid flows.
is seated on the upper surface of the holder to block communication between the two communication holes 61b and 62b.

In summary, in the composite engine mount according to the present invention, the valve body that opens and closes the hydraulic fluid passage, which is different from the orifice, in cooperation with the partition plate body is formed into a spherical shape from a material having approximately the same specific gravity as the hydraulic fluid. Since the ball valve element has been adopted, when the ball valve element is opened and closed, that is, when the ball valve element acts as a partition plate to open and close the hydraulic fluid passage, it moves smoothly and operates without irregular movement. Open and close liquid passages accurately. Therefore, the performance of the composite engine mount can be stably obtained.

The weight of the ball valve body and the buoyancy force substantially cancel each other out, so that the ball valve body floats with almost no resistance as the hydraulic fluid flows, and the hydraulic fluid passage can be opened and closed quickly. Therefore, the damping effect by the orifice is effectively obtained, and the performance at the time of low frequency displacement input (performance to suppress engine vibration) is improved.

The self-weight of the ball valve body and the buoyant force almost cancel each other out, and there is a difference between the operation when the compound engine mount is installed at an angle and the operation when the compound engine mount is installed horizontally. Since this hardly occurs, the desired performance can always be obtained regardless of the installation condition.

A plate-shaped partition member and a diaphragm made of an elastic member are disposed in a space formed by fixing an engine side mounting member and a vehicle body side mounting member to both ends of a cylinder made of an elastic material, and the space is a first hydraulic fluid chamber located on one side of the partition member and within the cylindrical body, and a first hydraulic fluid chamber located between the other side of the partition member and one side of the diaphragm and communicated with the first hydraulic fluid chamber via an orifice. a partition plate that is partitioned into two hydraulic fluid chambers and a volume correction chamber located on the other side of the diaphragm, and that has a hydraulic fluid passage different from the orifice and divides the partition member into both of the hydraulic fluid chambers; A composite engine mount for a vehicle engine, comprising a body and a valve body which is floatingly interposed in the hydraulic fluid passage in the partition plate body and cooperates with the partition plate body to open and close the hydraulic fluid passage. ,
A composite engine mount for a vehicle engine, characterized in that the valve body is a ball valve body formed into a spherical shape and made of a material having a specific gravity substantially the same as that of the hydraulic fluid.
