両用内燃機関において、以下の構成要素より成る
空燃比制御装置、 触媒コンバータの上流への二次空気の導入を制
御する手段、 内燃機関に導入される混合気の空燃比を制御す
るための手段、 空燃比制御手段により制御される空燃比を閉ル
ープ制御する手段、 空燃比制御手段により制御される空燃比を開ル
ープ制御する手段、 エンジン運転状態より閉ループ制御条件か開ル
ープ制御条件かを判別する手段、 閉ループ制御条件か開ループ制御かに応じて閉
ループ制御手段と開ループ制御手段とを切り替え
る手段、 車両の低速走行状態を検出する手段、 ４輪駆動状態における低速運転において開ルー
プ制御に固定すると共に二次空気導入手段を作動
させる手段。
