Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic having cleaning effect, peeling effect or massaging effect, by compounding porous spherical cellulose having specific particle diameter and bulk density. CONSTITUTION:A porous spherical cellulose having particle diameter of 0.1-1.0mm and bulk density of 0.1-0.7g/cc is compounded to a cosmetic (excluding powdery cosmetic) such as face lotion, creams and packs in an amount of 0.1-50wt.%, preferably 1-20wt.% based on whole cosmetic composition. Stains in pores, aged horny layer and sebum, etc., resistant to be removed with soap alone can be removed by the above fine particles having moderate hardness and elasticity. The circulation of blood can be improved and the metabolism of skin can be promoted by the massaging effect of the particles. Accordingly, the cosmetic is expected to have preventive and remedying effect to spots. The cosmetic is safe and can be produced by utilizing easily available natural material.

In recent years, the use of facial cleansers that are used to remove skin dirt and keratinized epidermis, so-called scrub facial cleansers, has become popular.Currently on the market, scrub facial cleansers that use plant-based products such as apricots and almonds have become popular. There are facial cleansers on the market that use crushed seeds, resin-based polyethylene, and inorganic products such as pumice. However, these scrubs are too hard and can damage the skin, and they also contain plant-based products. However, there are problems such as being easily corrupted.

Cosmetics containing cellulose fine particles include Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1983-
Publication No. 100514 G discloses powdered cosmetics that take advantage of skin adhesion, liquid absorption, and covering properties, commonly known as powder, and face powder, but this is a face scrub that uses the abrasive action of rough cellulose fine particles. Fees are not yet known. Since fine cellulose particles can be obtained with different physical properties depending on the manufacturing method, it is possible to obtain particles suitable for facial scrubs.

Particles for chromatographic carriers have a particle size of 0.1 mn+ or less, but the above production method can also be used to produce particles larger than that. The present inventors obtained porous spherical particles with a particle size of 0.1 to 1.0 mm by the above method, and when they tried to apply them as a scrubbing agent, they found that they had remarkable effects. invention has been achieved.

The size of the porous spherical cellulose fine particles used in the present invention varies slightly depending on the type of cosmetic product, but the particle size is 0.1
Particles having a diameter of ~1.0 mm and a bulk specific gravity of 0.1 to 0.7 g/cc are preferable. If the particles are smaller than this, appropriate hardness and elasticity cannot be obtained, and if the particles are larger than this, the abrasive action becomes excessive and the skin feels uncomfortable, making it impossible to obtain a comfortable range of use.

The amount of porous spherical cellulose particles used in the present invention to be incorporated into cosmetics varies depending on the type of cosmetic, but is 0.1 to 50% by weight of the total ml of cosmetics (hereinafter referred to as

If the amount is less than 0.1%, the cleaning effect, peeling effect, and pine surge effect of the spherical cellulose fine particles cannot be obtained, and if the amount is more than 50%, the cleaning effect and oil content of the cosmetic base itself will decrease, which is not preferable. .

The cosmetics containing porous spherical cellulose particles of the present invention use the blended porous spherical cellulose particles with appropriate hardness and elasticity to remove dirt in pores, old stratum corneum, sebum, etc. that cannot be removed with soap alone. In addition, its pine surge effect improves blood circulation and promotes skin metabolism, so it can be expected to be effective in preventing and treating age spots. The cosmetics of the present invention can be said to be new cosmetics that match the current style of natural products, since they utilize cellulose, a naturally occurring, safe, and easily available material.

Production Example 25 g of cellulose triacetate (manufactured by Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd., acetylation degree 61%) was dissolved in 170 methylene chloride containing 30 methanol. A mixture of 30 mZ of dibutyl phthalate and 30 aZ of methylene chloride was added to this solution and stirred to form a homogeneous solution, which was dissolved in 0.51 g of 1% gelatin containing an antifoaming agent (Antiform E-201.0 g) at about 750 ml. The mixture was dispersed while stirring at a rotational speed of ppn+. The resulting suspension was poured into 1% gelatin water IN with slow stirring, and stirring was continued for 1 hour. After standing still, the supernatant was removed, water-isopropanol (1:1) mixture 11 was added, and the mixture was stirred for a while. After filtering, it was thoroughly washed with water. Next, cellulose fine particles were suspended in isopropanol 11, heated to 70°C to 80°C, and heated for 2 to 3 hours.
Stir for hours. After filtration, add isopropanol 0.51 to 2
After washing twice and further dispersing in water and treating at 80° C. for 2 hours, it was filtered and washed with sufficient water. In a wet state, sieving is performed to obtain particles with a particle size of 0.5-0, 85 mm,
Porous spherical cellulose having a bulk specific gravity of 0.6 g/cc was obtained.

Five female panelists compared the range of use of the cleansing creams containing porous spherical cellulose particles prepared in the above Examples and Comparative Examples and the comparative cleansing creams. Panelists placed an appropriate amount of each cleansing cream in their palms, massaged the entire face in a circular motion with their fingertips, and then washed their face with regular soap. The frequency of use was twice a day, and after 3 days of use, the range of use of the cleansing cream containing porous spherical cellulose particles was examined compared to the comparative cleansing cream.
