Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of keys on the control panel to improve the ease of operation by attaching a net to the turn table of a microwave oven at the time of defrosting, and by judging the presence of the net by beaming an infrared ray to the turn table by means of a light emitting means. CONSTITUTION:For the purpose of defrosting, a special net 3 is attached to the turn table 2 before operating a microwave oven. A light emitting diode 4 is disposed on the side wall of the casing 1 to emit an infrared beam, and the emitted infrared beam is reflected by the base of the turn table 2 to be picked up by an infrared ray receiving photo-transistor 5 adjacent to the light emitting diode 4. Then, a judgment circuit 7 connected to a sensing circuit 6 receives the detected signal and judges the presence or lack of the net 3, whereupon an output is given to a control circuit 8. [実施例] 以下第1図、第2図に示す実施例に基づいて本発明を説
明する。第1図は電子レンジの内部を示す概略図、第2

可能に配設されたターンテーブルとを備えて構成されて
いる。そして冷凍物、例えば冷凍マグロなどを解答する
場合には、専用ネット(3)をターンテーブル(2)に
装着して電子レンジを用いる。また筐体(1)の側壁に
は赤外光を射出する発光ダイオード(4)が配設され、
これから射出された赤外光は、図示の如く、ターンテー
ブル(2)の脚部にて反射されて、発光ダイオード(4
)に隣接された赤外光受光フォトトランジスタ(5)に
よって検出される。つまり、受光フォトトランジスタ(
5)が受光すると、これを第2図に示した検出回路(6
)が検出して検出信号を出力する。すると検出回路(6
)に接続された判定回路(7)が検出信号を受信して、
ネット(3)の存否を判定して、存在すれば解凍時の出
力で済むことを判定して制御回路(8)に出力する。制
御回路(8)は判定回路(7)の信号に基づいて電子レ
ンジの高周波発振器(図示せず)の出力を低減させて解
凍等の出力を周期的に行なうことになる。この周期的な
出力はターンテーブル(2)の脚部が赤外光部を周期的
に通過する現象を利用することができる。この出力レベ
ル及び周期的な出力の各制御は、いわゆるマイコン制御
によって行なうことができる。
