Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten exposure time without increasing the output of a light source, by providing a support member for supporting a photosensitive member in an exposure region and having a light reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION:The image of the manuscript 6 on a manuscript table is formed on the photosensitive body 7 brought into close contact with a support member 8 through a fiber lens array 2 by the light emitted from a light source 1. Further, since the photosensitive body 7 is composed of a film having an emulsion held to the surface thereof and pervious to light, the transmitted light is reflected by the support member 8 to again return to the photosensitive body 7. Exposure is performed while the entire surface of the photosensitive body is moved by a carriage and a transfer member is superposed on the photosensitive body and pressed thereto to form the same image as the manuscript to the transfer member. As the support member 8, a white plastic plate, a metal plate composed of aluminum or a surface reflecting mirror is used. By this constitution, exposure time can be shortened without increasing the output of the light source.

[Prior art] A technology for forming images by controlling the transferability of a transfer material using the photocurability of a photosensitive material is a film-like film coated with microcapsules encapsulating at least a coloring material and a photocurable material. This system uses a photoreceptor and transfer paper. Image formation begins by exposing the photoreceptor to light in the visible range at least once in a desired pattern, and then photocuring the microcapsules in the areas exposed to the light. The photocurable material is cured, and then the exposed surface of the photoconductor is brought into close contact with the transfer paper, and by applying pressure, the microcapsules containing the photocurable material that have not hardened are destroyed, and the color contained in the same microcapsules is destroyed. This is achieved by transferring the material to transfer paper and causing a color reaction.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned image forming system, the photosensitive substance generally has unique spectral sensitivity characteristics such as a sensitivity peak in a short wavelength region where light energy is large, and sensitivity in the visible light region. Therefore, exposure using a visible light source has the disadvantage that the exposure time is long, and that a light source with high output is required to shorten the exposure time. The present invention proposes a good image forming system that solves the problems mentioned in (2) above, and its purpose is to shorten the exposure time without increasing the output of the light source.

[Embodiment] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of a copying machine using a photosensitive transfer type image forming apparatus of the present invention, in which a light source 1, fibers 1, and noise array 2 are connected to a carriage 4 that moves parallel to a guide member 3''. A support member 8 having the size of the entire surface of the exposed portion is fixed so as to be parallel to the document table 5. First, the light emitted from the light source 1 causes an image of the document 6 on the document table 5 to pass through the fiber lens array 2 and the light from the support member 8.The light transmitted through the photoreceptor 7 is reflected by the support member 8 and returns to the photoreceptor 7. Return to Exposure is performed while the carriage 4 moves over the entire surface of the photoreceptor, and by overlapping the transfer members and applying pressure (not shown), the same image as the original is formed on the transfer member 2.

In this embodiment, a non-flexible white plastic plate that is slightly larger than the entire exposed area is used as the support member 8, but a metal plate such as aluminum or a surface reflective mirror whose support surface is a reflective mirror is used as the support member 8. It may also be used as Alternatively, a diffused reflection plate may be used, in which the surface of a plastic or metal plate has been subjected to a satin finish, and a metal such as aluminum is coated by vapor deposition or plating, and the surface is protected with a transparent material.

FIG. 2 is a side view showing another embodiment of the present invention, in which the fiber lens array is fixed to the carriage 111 together with the laser IO as in the first embodiment, and the photoreceptor 7 is supported by a guide roller 19. Closely attached to 18. The surface of the support member 18 is configured to reflect light as in the first embodiment. Exposure is performed by moving the carriage 14 over the entire surface of the photoreceptor as in the first embodiment.

FIG. 3 is a side view showing another embodiment of the present invention, which is an example of a copying machine using a fiber lens array like the first embodiment. At 29, the photoreceptor 7 is in close contact. The surface of the support member 2 is configured to reflect light as in the first embodiment. During the exposure, the photoreceptor 7 rotates together with the support member 28 in the direction of arrow B at a speed of V. 6 FIG. 4 is a side view showing another embodiment of the present invention, which is similar to the third embodiment. This is also an example of a copying machine using a cylindrical support member, but the cylindrical support member 38, which does not rotate during exposure, is divided into six parts, and the reflectance of the divided parts is, for example, a mirror surface, with a reflectance of 80. %, 60%, 40%, 20% hundred,
The surface condition is mapped, with a non-reflective black painted surface.

[Effects of the Invention] The photosensitive transfer type image forming apparatus of the present invention shortens the exposure time without increasing the output of the light source by providing a support member that reflects light and is in close contact with the photoconductor in the exposure section. It has this effect. Furthermore, it has the effect of supporting the photoreceptor and keeping the distance between the lens and the photoreceptor constant, allowing a high resolution image to be obtained.
