Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively suppress the deterioration in the image quality of a film by discharge of static electricity by providing an electrical conductor like a frame to the peripheral edge on a film contact side of a film contact side part. CONSTITUTION:This film cassette is formed by constituting the electrical conductor 3 like a frame to the peripheral edge part on the film contact side 2 of the film loading part 1. More specifically, the conductor 3 is constituted to the frame shape to the peripheral edge, except the central part, of the film contact side 2 to avoid hindering photographing or film loading and is constituted by sticking a metallic tape having good electrical conductivity, conductive plastic tape or thin copper wire, etc., thereon. Since the easy constitution thereof to an ordinary cassette or autocassette is thereby permitted, the cost is low and since the deterioration in the image quality occurring in the static electricity is effectively prevented, a correct and quick diagnosis is permitted.

(Prior Art and its Problems) Most medical images are displayed on radiographic films, and various diseases are diagnosed from the findings on the images. Radiographic images are displayed with image quality suitable for diagnosis only when a series of devices such as radiographic equipment, radiation film, and automatic processors operate smoothly.

The problem in the process of forming radiographic images is that it is difficult to make a diagnosis.
Static electricity is generated during the process of completing an image, that is, during the operation of radiographic film, and when image quality deteriorates due to this static electricity, it is necessary to make a correct diagnosis and quickly set the correct treatment plan. It is often a huge obstacle in doing so. - In this example, the frequency of occurrence of image quality deterioration due to static electricity generation is as high as 5 to 15% of all photographed examples, and the intensity of static electricity is said to be 5000 to 6000 volts. An example of this image quality deterioration is shown in FIG.

In Figure 2 (a), there is a dendritic deterioration a in the chest X-ray image.
As shown in FIG. 2(b), dendritic deterioration a has also occurred in the raw film.

Conventionally, methods for improving the image quality of this building include coating the inside of the cassette or magazine with an anti-static agent such as a so-called screen cleaner9, or adding a brush to the film passage process. There are ways to prevent this problem, but none of them can be said to be a fundamental solution.

In this configuration, the film loading N11 is, for example, the film contacting side 2 of the top plate 5 (64) in the case of a cassette, and the raw film magazine (not shown) and the receiving magazine (not shown) in the case of an autocassette. In addition, the conductor 3 is arranged in a frame shape around the periphery of the film contacting side 2, avoiding the central part of the film contacting side 2, so as not to interfere with photography or film loading. It is constructed by pasting conductive plastic tape or thin copper wire.

Further, in the example of the cassette shown in FIG. 1, the conductor 3 is provided only on the film contacting side 2 of the top plate 5, but it is of course possible to provide it on the film contacting side of the lid 6 as well. .

(Function) With the above configuration, static electricity generated between the film and the film loading unit 1 due to friction when loading or removing the film from the film loading unit 1 is discharged into the four electric bodies 3 at each station. Therefore, deterioration of image quality of the film due to electrostatic discharge can be effectively suppressed.

In other words, radiation film is usually made of thin polyester coated with silver, and the film is placed in the film loading section 1.
When loading or unloading the film, electricity is generated between the film and the film loading section 1 due to friction, and this discharge causes image quality deterioration such as dendrites, which is particularly noticeable in winter when the air is dry. be. The present invention prevents image quality deterioration caused by such static electricity, and by configuring the conductor 3 in a frame shape at the periphery of the film contacting side 2 of the film loading section 1, charges are transferred to the periphery. Therefore, the equipotential area suppresses the generation of a local high potential difference due to static electricity on the film contact side 2, and the conductor 3 Since it becomes a good discharge path for the electric charge charged in the film loading section 1, the electric charge is relaxed and discharge is suppressed, so that deterioration of image quality can be prevented.
Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention can be easily configured into a ready-made cassette or an automatic cassette, so the cost is low and the system is simple.
Since it is possible to effectively prevent the deterioration of image quality caused by 1. It has a large effect. In addition, since there is no deterioration in image quality due to the generation of static electricity, there is no need for re-imaging, which reduces the burden on patients, doctors, and technicians, and improves the efficiency of imaging-related work.
