BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, windbreak rooms, sunrooms, etc., which are attached to buildings in an inclined manner mainly by retrofitting, are often constructed by disposing a transparent plate such as a glass plate on the roof.
The above-mentioned translucent plate is held at its both ends and its sloping upper end by upper frame members provided at the connection between side frame members such as rafters and the building, and its lower end is held by eaves sill members. It is held by a lower frame projecting above the eave girder material.
However, in this configuration where the lower end of the translucent plate is located near the immediate upper part of the eave sill material, rainwater that falls from the upper part of the translucent plate may flow to the panels around the waist of the windbreak room, etc. There is a risk of contamination. On the other hand, if the lower end of the transparent plate is configured to protrude further forward from the eave sill material, this lower end can no longer be held by the lower frame member fixed to the eave sill material, and the transparent plate Since the protruding portions will not be held in any way, there is a risk that they will not be able to withstand the load of falling snow and breakage.

First, the eave girder material 10 is formed by forming a condensation water receiving groove 14 on the outdoor side of the upper surface portion 10b of the semi-cylindrical main body 10a, and further extending the upper surface portion 10b outward to provide a fixing piece 10c. Fixed piece 10c
is fixed to the lower surface of the rafter 5 with screws.
A locking portion 15 is formed on the inner wall of the outdoor condensation water receiving groove 14, and a roof transparent plate holding member 11 is locked and fixed to the locking portion 15. The holding member 11
is from the outdoor end of the base piece 11a to the transparent plate holding piece 11b.
is formed in an upright manner, and is provided with locking leg pieces 11c below it, and these locking leg pieces 11c are locked in the locking portions 15 of the condensation water receiving groove 14, and the base piece 11a
It is fixed by screwing to the bottom of the receiving groove 14. An airtight material holding groove 16 is formed at the upper end of the holding piece 11b, and an airtight material 17 is fitted into the groove 16. This airtight material 17 comes into contact with the lower surface of the roof transparent plate 7 and holds the transparent plate 7 from below. Note that condensation water drop holes 18 are cut out at appropriate locations on the base piece 11a of the holding member 11. Since the eave girder material 10 comes into contact with the side surface of the hollow vertical frame 1, a condensation water receiving groove 14 is formed in the side surface.
By cutting out a drainage hole (not shown) that communicates with the vertical frame 1 and also cutting out a drainage hole (not shown) in the lower part of the vertical frame 1, it is possible to cut out a drainage hole (not shown) that communicates with the vertical frame 1. The condensed water that has flowed down should be removed from the holding piece 1.
1b, falls through the drop hole 18 into the receiving groove, and then proceeds from both ends of the groove 14 through the upper drainage hole, into the vertical frame 1, and is discharged from the lower drainage hole along its inner surface. . The upper horizontal frame 19 of the front transparent plate 7' of the windbreak room A is screwed to the lower part of the eave girder member 10.

The roof translucent plate 7 protrudes from the eave girder material 10 by an appropriate length, and its tip is held by a receiving edge 12. The receiving edge 12 has a supporting piece 12a and a receiving piece 12.
b are connected in a T-shape, and are fixed between the rafters 5 and between the side frames 8 and the rafters 5. In normal cases, one piece 20a of the bracket 20 having an L-shaped cross section is fixed to the side surface of the tip end of the rafter 5, and the other piece 20b is attached to the supporting piece 12a of the receiving edge 12.
It can be fixed by attaching it to. The same applies to the side frame 8. Then, the tip of the roof translucent plate 7 is received on the receiving piece 12b via the airtight material 21, and caulking 22 is filled between the tip and the support piece 12a. Holds the tip.

As described above, since the roof transparent plate 7 protrudes from the eaves beam member 10 by an appropriate length, rainwater does not directly flow from the roof to the front transparent plate 7'.
Further, since the receiving edge 12 is fixed between the side frame 8 and the rafters 5 or between the rafters 5, it can be relatively short and can sufficiently withstand loads such as snow accumulation. Furthermore, the tip surface of the transparent plate 7 is not exposed to the outside and is covered with the airtight material 21 and caulking 22 provided between the receiving edge 12.
When a wired glass plate is used, there is no fear that rainwater will adhere to the wires exposed from the end face, accelerating oxidation, and causing cracks in the glass plate due to expansion.

Next, a rain gutter 23 that does not protrude above the receiving edge 12 is extended from below the receiving edge 12 and spanning between the left and right side frames 8, 8. This rain gutter 23 is connected to the fixed piece 2 from the inner opening end of the main body 23a having a substantially U-shaped cross section.
3b protrudes, and this fixing piece 23b is attached to the side frame 8.
By fixing screws to the lower surface of the tip of the rafter 5, it is installed astride between the left and right side frames 8, 8. Therefore, the rain gutter 23 opens below the receiving edge 12 and can receive rainwater flowing down along the upper surface of the transparent plate 7. Further, since the outer opening end of the rain gutter 23 does not protrude above the receiving edge 12, snow accumulated on the upper surface of the transparent plate 7 does not get caught in the rain gutter 23.
It falls smoothly, so there is no risk of snow accumulating on the eaves and increasing the load on the eaves. A fascia may be provided at the tip of the eaves of the roof c as required. In this case, short brackets 25 and 26 may be fixed to the upper surface of the tip of the side frame 8 or the rafter 5 and the lower surface of the tip of the rain gutter 23, respectively, and the fascia edge 27 may be fastened and fixed to the other of these brackets. 28 is a tip cap of the rafter 5.

Although an example in which the receiving edge 12 and the rain gutter 23 are formed separately has been described above, the receiving edge 12 and the rain gutter 23 can also be configured integrally. In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, the tip of the main body 23a of the rain gutter 23 is continuous with the lower end of the support piece 12a of the receiving edge 12, and both are integrally formed.
What is necessary is just to form a notch in the portion of the support piece 12a that receives the rafter 5 or the side frame 8.

As explained in detail above, since the roof transparent plate protrudes from the eave sill material by an appropriate length, rainwater does not flow directly from the transparent plate to the transparent plate around the waist. The tip of the translucent plate is held by a relatively short receiving edge fixed between the side frame and the rafters, or between the rafters, so the end surface is protected and it is sufficiently resistant to loads such as snow accumulation. I can endure it. Furthermore, since the rain gutter does not protrude above the receiving edge, the snow accumulated on the roof transmissive plate can easily fall off smoothly, and an increase in the load on the eaves can be prevented.
