Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely separate filter mediums and impurities with small motive power by agitating the under surfaces part of a filter medium layer and discharging one part of water incorporated in a filter tank and furthermore agitating the filter medium layer with raw water and thereafter discharging turbid water. CONSTITUTION:In case of filtering raw water by using floating filter mediums and washing clogged filter mediums to regenerate them, the filter mediums are loosened by agitating only the lowermost layer part of a filter medium layer 1 with an impeller 2 and thereby clogged impurities are diffused on the bottom of the filter tank 1 and thereafter sewage diffused with impurities is discharged. Then after introducing raw water from the lower part and agitating the filter medium layer 1, turbid water is discharged. As a result, the filter mediums and impurities can be surely separated and furthermore the motive power to be used is reduced.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to an improvement in a cleaning and regenerating method when a filter medium of a filter using a granular floating filter medium is not clogged.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, a filtration method is known in which a floating filter medium is loaded in a sealed filtration tank, raw water is injected from the bottom, and the filtered water is taken out from the top. It is also known, for example, from Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 56-7292, to stir the filter medium layer using a stirring blade provided at the bottom of the filter tank.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, the method for cleaning the filter medium in the conventional device, which is the same as that in the utility model described above, is that when the filter medium becomes clogged, the supply of raw water is stopped and a filter provided at the bottom is used. The impeller simply stirs the entire clogged filter medium. Therefore, if there is a large amount of fibrous impurities in the clogged area, the fibrous impurities may mix with the filter medium and become entangled and fall into the filter, making it impossible to separate them. I need.

This is shown in FIGS. 1(a) to 1(b). In other words, in raw water containing a large amount of fibrous contaminants, the contaminants accumulate on the lower surface of the filter layer 1 and become clogged, as shown in Figure 2 (a). In particular, Figure 2 (
If the impurities are diffused throughout the filtration tank as shown in b) and stirring is stopped, the impurities get mixed into the filter medium and cannot be discharged as shown in FIG. 1c.

(Means for Solving the Problems) Therefore, the present invention is designed to reliably separate impurities and reduce the power required for cleaning by devising a cleaning method when the filter medium becomes clogged. The gist is that a granular floating filter material is loaded into a sealed filtration tank, raw water is supplied from the bottom, and the filtrate obtained by passing through the floating filter material layer is poured into the top of the filtration tank. In order to wash and regenerate the clogged filter media in a filter that can be taken out from the tank, first stop the supply of raw water, stir the bottom part of the filter media layer to loosen it, and then remove some of the inside of the filtration tank. Water is drained from the bottom of the tank, raw water is then injected from the bottom to stir the filter layer, and then the polluted water is drained.

The present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 2. First, when the filtration operation is continued, the lower surface and lower layer of the filter layer 1 become clogged as shown in FIG. 2(A). In order to separate the contaminants in this clogged area from the filter medium, the filter medium is loosened by stirring only the lowest layer of the filter medium layer 1 with the stirring blade 2, as shown in FIG. 2(b). The thickness to be loosened by stirring varies somewhat depending on the thickness of the filter medium layer, but is usually about 6 cm.

The contaminants that were clogged by this stirring are removed as shown in Figure 2 (/
As shown now, it diffuses into the bottom of the filter tank l. Therefore,
The impurities can be discharged by draining the wastewater in which the impurities have been dispersed.

In other words, in the past, fibrous contaminants were deposited on the lower surface and lower layer of the filter medium layer, and if the whole was stirred, they got entangled with the filter medium and could not be separated, but in the present invention, it is possible to instantaneously stir a portion of the filter medium. However, because the stirring is only for a short time in some parts, no power is required. In order to wash the entire filter medium after separating and discharging impurities that are difficult to separate, as shown in Figure 2), stir the entire filter medium while washing from the bottom d. In this case, since the clogged and solidified lower layer has been loosened, it is possible to stir with a small amount of power. In addition, since the fibrous contaminants are discharged first, they do not get entangled in the filter media, and the filtration operation can be restarted by injecting raw water after discharging the washing polluted water. be.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention is capable of reliably separating the filter medium and impurities in a filter using a granular floating filter medium, requires less power, and is particularly effective in removing fibrous contaminants. It is used to clean filter media that is clogged with substances, and has an outstanding effect unmatched by conventional methods. −
