Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid a large size of the device and increase the air flow capacity with low cost and reduce noises by providing fan main vanes which are equally arranged in a vortex chamber which is outside of the open bore of an air blow ing port and providing auxiliary vanes extended towards the center of the fan with a most balanced arrangement of vanes the number of which is smaller than the number of the main vanes by an odd number of vanes. CONSTITUTION:Small particles ionized among a high tension discharge line 6 and counter electrodes 8 after passing through a front grill 4 and prefilter 5 are arrested by a filter 3 to give clean air. The clean air is sucked in by a fan 21 from a blowing-in port 9a. On the basis of sirocco fan 48 main vanes 21a which are of the same shape and same number are arranged on a circle equally, and 13 auxiliary vanes 21b given by subtracting from the number of the main vanes vanes an odd number 35 are arranged with highest balance and provided by extending from the main vanes 21a. The air flow capacity increases with the increase in the number of the auxiliary vanes 21b, and they are most effective when 13 auxiliary vanes are provided with an increase of about 9 %. Looking at the sound pressure level of noises, it shows that 13 and 15 auxiliary vanes present a lower sound than conventional fans.

That is, the front body 1 and the rear body 2 form a box, and a removable filter 3 is arranged on the top surface. 4 is a front grill that has many air intake holes on the front and is attached to the front of the main body. 6 is a pre-filter that catches relatively large particles of dust; 16 is a discharge wire to which a high voltage is applied;
7 is a discharge wire cover, 8 is a counter electrode plate, and a pre-filter.
The fine particles passing through the filter 5 are ionized and collected by the filter 3 having a charged body. Reference numeral 9 denotes a partition wall that forms a vortex chamber 10 with the rear body 2, which has an air inlet 9a opened therein, and a drive motor 12 with a fan 11 fixed to a plurality of arms 9b extending toward the center of the opening of the air inlet 9a. is installed. As shown in FIG. 1o, this fan 11 has a large number of blades 11a arranged equally on the circumference so that they are located inside the vortex chamber 1o outside the suction port 9a of the partition wall 9. It is provided. Now, when this configuration is operated, the fan 11 is rotated by the drive motor 12, and the dirty air in the room is pumped through the front grill 4. The air passes through a pre-filter 5, is purified by a filter 3 containing a deodorizing agent, etc., is guided into the vortex chamber 1o through the suction port 9a, and is sent out of the machine through the exhaust port (not shown).

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, such a structure has the following problems. In other words, this type of air purifier is desired to have the ability to purify indoor air in the shortest possible time, and to achieve this, it is necessary to increase the air volume (m/min) by the fan, but mainly the air that passes through the filter 3 In order to resist the pressure loss and increase the air volume, as is well known, there is a method of increasing the diameter A of the fan 11 and the height B of the blades 11a, and optimizing the shape and number of blades 11a. The main body becomes larger, which is disadvantageous in terms of cost. On the other hand, if the output of the drive motor 12 is increased to increase the rotational speed of the fan 11, the noise will increase proportionally, which is a problem.

In addition to the sound pressure level, the noise tends to produce unpleasant sounds that are perceived as harsh abnormal sounds in a specific frequency band. This is often caused by what is called NZ noise due to the number Z of blades and the number of rotations N of the fan 11.

Means for Solving the ProblemsThe technical means of the present invention for solving the above problems is to use fan blades (hereinafter referred to as "fan blades") arranged equally in the vortex chamber outside the opening diameter of the air inlet. The number of auxiliary blades is subtracted by an odd number from the number of main blades (referred to as the main blade) to create a fan with auxiliary blades extending toward the center of the fan in the most balanced arrangement.

In other words, by placing the auxiliary blades extending from the main blades into the opening of the air inlet, the auxiliary blades first catch the blown air and actively send it to the connected main blades. At the same time, the number of auxiliary blades is an odd number subtracted from the number of main blades, so when the number of main blades is in the corner, it is an odd number, and when the number of main blades is an odd number, it is an even number. This causes a change in the airflow between the main vane and the main blade, which quiets the annoying abnormal noise and makes it easier to hear, reducing the noise level.

In FIG. 2, front grill 4. Prefilter-5
The filter 3 collects ionized particles between the high-voltage discharge wire 6 and the counter electrode 8, and the purified air is sucked in by the fan 21 from the air inlet 9a. As shown in FIG. 1, this fan 21 is based on the general sirocco fan 11 shown in the conventional example shown in FIG. However, excluding the odd number of 30 blades from this number of main blades, 13 auxiliary blades 21b are arranged in the best balance toward the center of the fan 21 and extended from the main blades 21&. Although this auxiliary blade 21b has a triangular shape, it is not limited to a triangular shape.

As can be seen from these three types of examples, the auxiliary blades 21b are arranged in the most balanced manner under the condition that the auxiliary blades 21b connected to the main blade 21a are extended by removing an odd number from the main blade 21a on the outer periphery. lacks balance on the circumference, which could result in an evenly distributed arrangement. Therefore, the physical rotational imbalance is corrected by the wall thickness of the fan 21. Then, from the auxiliary blade 21b facing the air inlet 9a to the main blade 21a on the outer periphery.
The flow of air that is sent out is not always constant and changes when viewed on the circumference.

For comparison with the fan of the embodiment of the present invention as described above, FIGS. 5, 6, and 7 show an example in which the auxiliary blades 21b are arranged in the most balanced manner by removing an even number from the main blades 21a. That is, the number of main blades is 48, and the number of auxiliary blades 21b is 4, 8, and 16, respectively. These are different from the embodiments of the present invention in that they are physically balanced as a fan, and the flow of air sent from the auxiliary blades 21b to the main blades 21a on the outer periphery is always constant when viewed on the circumference.

Now, FIG. 8 shows the results of an experiment in which a fan equipped with these auxiliary blades 21b was replaced with a conventional fan without auxiliary blades. In the figure, the horizontal axis indicates the number of auxiliary blades,
The conventional example is set to 0. The vertical axis shows increases and decreases in air volume and noise per rotation speed with respect to the conventional fan.

The air volume increases with the number of auxiliary blades 21b, indicating that the fan is effective as a means for increasing the air volume without increasing the size of the fan body. The one with 13 auxiliary blades is the most effective and can increase the number of blades by about 9 inches, which is very effective.

On the other hand, looking at the rotation speed of fan 7, the rotation speed of fans with 4 auxiliary blades and 8 blades decreases slightly. The rate of decrease is minute, about 1%, but this is because the auxiliary blades capture and blow air, so even if the rotation speed decreases slightly, the effect of increasing the air volume is large. 11 auxiliary blades
On the contrary, when the number of sheets exceeds 1, the number of rotations increases. The increase rate is 1
~3.5%, and since the auxiliary blades capture an appropriate amount of air and send it to the main blades efficiently, the increase in air volume due to the increase in rotational speed increases the air volume compared to when there are 4 or 8 auxiliary blades. It is thought that this will result in an increase. In particular, in the case of 13 auxiliary blades, while the increase in rotational speed is approximately 1%, the reason why the highest increase in air volume is achieved is that the auxiliary blades have the best air delivery efficiency to the main blade. .

On the other hand, looking at the sound pressure level [:dB] of the noise, the fans that are quieter than conventional fans have 13 auxiliary blades and 16 auxiliary blades.
It is one piece. If you listen to the sound with your ears, you will notice that the exhaust pulsates periodically for conventional fans and for fans with 4, 8, and 16 auxiliary blades, which are arranged in a well-balanced manner by removing an even number of auxiliary blades from the number of main blades.NZ As shown in FIG. 9, an abnormal peak (a) occurs as a result of the sound, and the abnormal sound is harsh and unpleasant, raising the overall noise level. This is because the flow of air passing through the blades of the fan is uniform over the circumference of the fan, which tends to cause a type of resonance sound. The fan of the present invention is provided with auxiliary blades, and by changing the flow of air passing through the blades on the circumference of the fan, it exhibits the effect of reducing resonance sound as shown by A' in FIG. 9. As shown in the frequency distribution of the sound pressure, the sound pressure is lower than that of conventional fans in the high frequency range.
It is slightly higher in the low frequency range below Hz. This is because the auxiliary blades capture the air from the inlet and send it to the main blades, disturbing the air flow, resulting in an increase in sound pressure in the low frequency band. However, in terms of hearing, these low-frequency components are not sensitively felt, so the overall sound pressure level after auditory correction is lower than that of conventional fans, and as shown in Figure 8, the noise is reduced, and there is no unpleasant abnormal sound. This removes the noise and makes the sound easier to hear.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention has the advantage that the number of auxiliary blades, the number of which is the number of main blades minus an odd number, is distributed evenly in the vortex chamber outward from the diameter of the air inlet toward the center of the fan. By extending and arranging the fan in a well-balanced manner, it is possible to inexpensively increase the air volume without increasing the diameter or blade height of the fan, and therefore without increasing the size of the product, while also reducing noise by eliminating unpleasant abnormal noises. It has a great effect.
