[Prior Art] Raft-once type optical disk device In this case, if an unreproducible sector occurs due to a defect in the medium during recording, it is necessary to replace the unreproducible sector with another sector. For this reason, the following method has conventionally been used. FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b) are operation explanatory diagrams showing an alternative processing method in a conventional optical disk device, as shown in, for example, Nikkei Electronics, published on November 21, 1983, pages 208 to 209. Figure 5(a) shows the 5th

Explaining according to FIG. 1(a) and FIG. 2, recording is performed for each track from, for example, sector O in FIG. (indicated by Wn)) (steps S31 to S532). After one track is recorded, a verify check (indicated by (Vn) in FIG. 1(a)) is performed (step 533), and if a defective sector is found, it is replaced by the last sector of that track, that is, the N sector. At this time,
The control byte (
In U2), information such as the address of the replaced defective sector is recorded. If there is no bad sector, continue recording with the last sector as the first sector of the next track (first
(See arrow (C) in Figure (a)), if the f&end sector is not used as a replacement sector, the control byte (U2) is cleared (steps S34 to S535). In addition, if a plurality of defective sectors occur, they are replaced by sectors in the replacement track area (4) shown in FIG. 6 (step S

Reproduction is performed up to the sector (indicated by (Rn) in FIG. 1(b)), and if there is a sector that cannot be reproduced during reproduction, it is stored (steps S41 to S544). If there is a sector that cannot be reproduced, the control byte (U2) of the last sector to be reproduced is checked, and if it matches the address of the defective sector, it is replaced by the defective sector as a replacement sector. If there is no unplayable sector, the last sector played after the N-1 sector is set as the top sector of the next track (
(See arrow (D) in FIG. 1(b)), and the playback operation continues from here (steps S45 to S546). If there is an address mismatch or multiple defects, the replacement track area (4) is played back. (Step S47~
