Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to take out easily a molded sheet pad, where the front side of the side part is expanded and frames are inserted, without any interference with the side part of a bottom force, by setting a covering film covering a divided part of a bottom force of a mold constituting a tip force and the bottom force whose side part is divided, from the inside of the divided part, pouring a foamable resin in the mold and foaming it. CONSTITUTION:A mold is constituted of a container-shaped bottom force 1 consisting of a main body 2 of the bottom force and a side part 3 and a lid-shaped top force 4. The side part 3 of the bottom force 1 is of an undercut shape, and fixed on a main body 2 of the bottom force with a hinge 5 in such a manner that it can be opened outside. Inserted frames 7 are set in the bottom force 1,and a urethane foamable raw material for a high hardness foam and a urethane foamable raw material for a low hardness foam are poured respectively in the side part and in the central part of the bottom force 1, and then the top force 4 is closed. The poured urethane foamable raw material is foamed to filling the mold, and a sheet 10, where the film and the inserted frames 7 are made in a body, being composed of a high hardness foam 9 and a low hardness foam 8 is formed. Then, the top force 4 is opened and the side part 3 of the bottom force 1 is opened outside to take out a monolithically molded sheet 10.

Seat pads for automobiles and the like are manufactured by injecting a foamable resin such as urethane into a molding process and then curing the foam. This seat pad improves the hold of the seat,
For example, as shown in FIG. 2, a partition plate 1 is placed inside the mold la.
2 is inserted to partition the mold 1a, foaming raw materials with different hardnesses are injected into each partitioned foaming chamber, foaming is performed, and before foaming is completed, the partition plate 12 is pulled out to allow the foaming to harden. The side parts are made of high hardness foam 9, and the main part (green part) is made of low hardness foam 8 (see JP-A-61-146514). In addition, in order to increase the rigidity of the sheet, as shown in FIG.
A sheet 10 is manufactured in which a frame 7 is inserted for foaming and curing. In addition, in the figure, 9 is a high hardness foam of 7 ohms, and 8 is a low hardness foam.

7-Topand, which has a different hardness form with high hardness on the side parts, has high overall rigidity, so it is easy to remove from the mold.
<、Requires great expositional ability and time. Furthermore, the rigidity of the seat pad into which the seat frame is inserted is significantly increased, making demolding difficult and impossible if the mold is undercut. Therefore, it is not possible to form a seat pad with canted rear sides as shown by the solid line 0) in Fig. 4, which is commonly used these days. It is necessary to make the mold into a shape that does not require an undercant, and there are design restrictions. Therefore, it is conceivable to divide the side part of the lower mold so that it is movable and to form an undercant shape during molding, so that the side part opens when taking out the product. The foaming raw material permeates due to the pressure, foams there, and creates debris, which requires post-treatment to remove the debris. Moreover, if the particles are not removed sufficiently, they will come into contact with the human body and cause discomfort.

On the other hand, as an integral foam molding method that prevents the occurrence of fringing, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 147811/1983 discloses a gap formed between the periphery of the opening of the core material and the mold surface when the core material is attached to the mold surface. A sealing material is placed on the relevant part of the mold surface in advance so that the core material can be attached, and the mold surface surrounded by the sealing material is coated with foamed plastic 7 without applying a mold release agent.
A method is disclosed in which the material is injected, cured, and released from the mold to adhere to the surface of the mold surrounded by a sealing material, and used as a sealing material in subsequent molding. However, this method cannot be applied to molds in which the lower mold is divided and movable.
Paris accumulates on the divided portions, deforms the divided portions, and causes damage to the mold.

The method for producing an integrally foamed seat with a frame according to the present invention is that when a seat pad into which a frame is inserted is integrally foam-molded, the split portion of the lower mold of the mold is made up of an upper mold and a lower mold with divided sides. The method is characterized in that a film is provided to cover the core portion from the inside, a frame is placed in the mold, and then a foamable resin is injected into the mold and foamed.

In the present invention, a coating is provided on the divided portion of the lower mold so as to cover the core from the inside, but this coating may be provided by pasting an elastic film or foam, or by spraying a two-component reactive urethane foam. Can be done.

Further, as an additional feature of the present invention, the foamable resin injected into the mold is foamed to become a foamed resin, and can be a monomer, prepolymer, polymer, or a mixture thereof, and is usually used for sheets. The urethane foaming raw materials that have been described can also be used.

The mold consists of an upper mold and a lower mold with split side parts, so even if the inside of the side part of the lower mold has an undercant shape, by opening the (i11 part) of the lower mold, the molded seat pad can be easily removed from the mold without interfering with the side of the nucleus.

On the other hand, the side part of the lower mold is divided, but since a coating is provided on the divided part to cover the part from the inside, even if foamable resin is injected into the mold and foamed, the foamable resin The coating prevents the foaming pressure from penetrating into the divided portions, and no flaking occurs.

As shown in FIG. 1(b), the mold used in this example has a lower mold body 2 having a mold surface in the shape of the front and upper and lower end surfaces of the seat pad, and a mold surface in the shape of the side surfaces of the topand. It is composed of a container-shaped lower mold 1 having a side portion 3 with a side portion 3, and a lid-shaped upper mold 4 having a mold surface in the shape of the rear surface of the seat pad, and the side portion 8 of the lower mold 1 is in the shape of an undercut. , and is attached to the lower die main body 2 by a hinge 5 so as to be able to open outward.

To mold the seat pad, first, a two-component reaction type urethane foam raw material is sprayed onto the divided portion between the lower mold body 2 and the side portion 8 of the lower mold 1 using a spray gun 11 so as to cover the divided portion from the inside.

Then, the foam hardens to form a urethane foam coating 6, which seals the divided portion. At this time, since the urethane foam raw material is foamed while being exposed to the atmosphere, it does not enter the divided portion and no flaking occurs. Next, the insert frame 7 is inserted into the lower mold 1, and the urethane foam raw material for high hardness foam is injected into the side part of the lower mold 1, and the urethane foam raw material for low hardness foam is injected into the center. 1) Upper mold 4 as shown in)
Close. The injected urethane foaming raw material foams and fills the mold, forming a sheet 10 consisting of a high hardness foam 9 and a low hardness foam 8, in which the coating and the insert frame 7 are integrated. When this urethane foam raw material foams, foaming pressure is generated, but since the divided portion of the lower mold 1 is sealed by the coating 6, the urethane foam raw material does not seep into the divided portion, and no paris occurs. Next, as shown in FIG. 1(C), the upper mold 4 is opened, the side portions 8 of the lower mold 1 are opened outward, and the integrally molded sheet 10 is taken out. Since the side portions 8 open outward more than vertically, there is no interference with the side portions 8, and the mold can be removed smoothly.

As described above, the method for producing the integrally foamed frame trunk of the present invention uses a molded product consisting of an upper mold and a lower mold with divided sides, Since it is manufactured by providing a coating on the i part,
The front side of the side part is widened, and even a seat pad with a frame inserted can be easily taken out without interfering with the side part of the lower mold, and no cracks are generated at positions corresponding to the divided parts of the lower mold. As a result, the outer shape of the sheet product is excellent, and post-processing such as paring of the divided portions is not required, resulting in a marked improvement in productivity.
