に、蛍光体被覆を形成して成る蛍光ランプにおい
て、上記電極間の放電によつて蛍光体被覆から励
起発光される可視光を反射する反射性被覆を、上
記ガラスバルブの長手方向に沿つた両端部の幅が
中央部よりも狭くなる細長い開口を持つように、
ガラスバルブの外周面に、又はガラスバルブの内
周面と蛍光体被覆との間に形成したことを特徴と
する蛍光ランプ。 ２ 上記反射性被覆は、概ね白色であつてガラス
バルブの外周面に塗布した耐熱塗料によつて形成
されているものであることを特徴とする実用新案
登録請求の範囲第１項記載の蛍光ランプ。 ３ 上記反射性被覆は、ガラスバルブの外周面に
蒸着した光反射性を有する薄膜抵抗体であること
を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載
の蛍光ランプ。 ４ 上記蛍光体被覆は、反射性被覆の開口に呼応
して除去されて成るものであることを特徴とする

か１項に記載の蛍光ランプ。 ５ 上記ガラスバルブは、その両端部に、乳白ガ
ラスで成るボタンステムを有するものであること

に概ね白色の耐熱塗料を塗布したガラス製ボタン
