Abstract

PURPOSE:To always keep the ambient gas bellow its explosion limits, by blowing an ambient gas jet onto the side where the ambient gas of coating and drying equipment tends to stagnate to eliminate the stagnant part of the ambient gas and to eliminate the deposition of mist on a wall surface. CONSTITUTION:An ambient gas jetting pipeline 7 is provided at the sites where the ambient gas tends to stagnate such as the inside of a furnace casing 1 of the equipment for drying a coated article S, the corners 1a and bends of ambient gas circulating duct 4-6. An ambient gas jet is blown onto the sites where the gas tends to stagnate from the nozzle of the pipeline 7 to eliminate the stagnant part of the ambient gas. As a result, the deposition of paint mist on the inner furnace wall at the sites where the gas tends to stagnate is prevented, the deposition of the mist released from the wall surface on the surface of the coated article S is eliminated, the replacement of the ambient gas is promoted, combustible gas is not accumulated, and the operation can be safely carried out at all times while keeping the gas below the explosion limits.

As mentioned above, the atmospheric gas mixed with paint mist is circulated inside the furnace and through the circulation duct by a circulation blower, but the flow rate of the atmospheric gas inside the furnace varies depending on the location, especially in the corners of the furnace. Because the flow of the atmospheric gas was slow and stagnant, the metabolism of the atmospheric gas that flowed into that area was poor, causing mist to accumulate on the furnace wall. In addition, stagnation occurs in the circulation duct at bends, etc., and the mist accumulates on the wall surface, and the accumulated layer of this mist then peels off and is ejected together with the atmospheric gas, adhering to the surface of the painted strip (S). This sometimes caused the surface of the paint strip (S) to become rough.

The present invention was made in view of the drawbacks of the conventional example, and
The purpose is to eliminate stagnation of atmospheric gas by spraying a jet of atmospheric gas onto areas where the flow of atmospheric gas in paint drying equipment tends to stagnate, and to cause mist to adhere to the walls of areas where stagnation is likely to occur. To provide a method for preventing mist adhesion, which can prevent air pollution, promote the metabolism of atmospheric gases that are flammable gases, and maintain the concentration within the entire facility below the lower explosive limit.

By spraying the circulating atmospheric gas from the atmospheric gas jetting pipe (8) onto the wall surface of the part where the atmospheric gas tends to stagnate, where each mist tends to adhere, the flow velocity of the atmospheric gas flowing through the wall surface becomes a predetermined flow velocity, and the mist is formed on the wall surface. At the same time, the metabolism of atmospheric gas in the stagnation area improves,
The atmospheric gas in the stagnation area is always below the explosion limit.

Since the method for preventing mist accumulation is the same both in the circulation duct and in the coating oven body, an example will be shown for the coating oven body (1) where mist accumulation is most common and problematic. FIG. 1 is a plan view of the heating zone of the coating drying oven body (1), and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A--A in FIG. (1) is inside the oven body (1), and inside the oven, multiple sets of jet nozzles (6) are arranged vertically facing each other so that the spray nozzles (6) can heat the coating strip (S) from above and below with the coating strip (S) in between. They are installed respectively. The distribution duct (5) connects and communicates with the plurality of ejection ducts (6) and the atmospheric gas ejection pipe (7) installed along the corner (1) in the furnace through the gas supply pipe (8). There is. The direction of gas ejection from the atmospheric gas ejection pipe (7) is toward the corner of the furnace body (1).

With the above configuration, the atmospheric gas mixed with mist in the furnace is sucked into the combustion chamber (2) by the circulation blower (3).
The air is circulated through the connecting duct (4) and the distribution duct (5) to the jetting nozzle (6) and is jetted onto the coating strip (S) to dry the painted surface. In this embodiment, the atmospheric gas jetting pipe (7) is installed along the corner (1) in the oven (1) where the flow rate of the atmospheric gas is particularly low and stagnation of the atmospheric gas is likely to occur. As shown, atmospheric gas is blown in the direction of the arc-shaped corner (1), along the wall surface of the corner (1) where stagnation of the furnace body (1) is likely to occur. This forcibly forms an atmospheric gas flow at a predetermined flow rate to prevent mist mixed with the atmospheric gas from adhering to the furnace wall surface. Although not shown or explained in this embodiment, an atmospheric gas jetting pipe (7) is installed even at a location where atmospheric gas stagnation is likely to occur, such as a curved portion of a circulation duct, and the resulting jet spray prevents the accumulation of mixed mist. At the same time, the metabolism of atmospheric gases is carried out.

As described above, in the present invention, an atmospheric gas jetting pipe is provided in a part of the paint drying oven where stagnation of the atmospheric gas flow is likely to occur, and atmospheric gas is forcibly sprayed from the atmospheric gas jetting pipe to the part where this stagnation is likely to occur. Therefore, a flow of atmospheric gas at a predetermined flow rate or higher is forcibly formed in areas where stagnation is likely to occur, thereby preventing paint mist from accumulating on the inner wall of the furnace in areas where stagnation is likely to occur. This eliminates the adhesion of peeling mist from the wall surface to the wall surface, improving product quality and operational efficiency, as well as eliminating stagnation in any part of the device, promoting the metabolism of atmospheric gases, and reducing flammability. This prevents gas from accumulating and enables safe operation at all times below the explosion limit.
