    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングホイールをラツク・ピニオン機構
    を介して操舵輪に連結するとともに、電動機の発
    生するトルクを前記ラツク・ピニオン機構のラツ
    ク軸に付与することにより操舵力の軽減を図る電
    動式パワーステアリング装置において、前記ラツ
    ク軸と同心軸状に電動機を配設し、前記ラツク軸
    と平行に配設され外周面に螺旋溝が刻設されたね
    じ軸を前記電動機に連結するとともに、内周面に
    螺旋溝が刻設されボールを介して前記ねじ軸の螺
    旋溝と結合するナツト部材を前記ラツク軸に連結
    したことを特徴とする電動式パワーステアリング
    装置。
