Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out ice breaking at shoulder parts by providing ice cutting bodies on the shoulder parts of both broadsides near draft lines. CONSTITUTION:Ice cutting bodies 2 are provided on the shoulder parts of both broadcasts near the draft lines of a hull 1. The ice cutting body 2 consists of a body 20 having a triangular side and a fusiform plane and a support lever 21 projecting out of the broadside. The body 20 is provided in parallel to the broadside with its triangular oblique side 22 being opposite to the front sea surface, while having a lower sharp edge part. Thereby, an ice board 52 can be efficiently broken with the oblique sides 22 having the sharp edge parts. It is also possible to provide rotating fins, etc. Thus, by providing an ice cutting body on the broadside shoulder part as a parallel part, the ice breaking operation by means of the shoulder part which was conventionally unable to carry out ice breaking operation, can be efficiently carried out.

(Prior Art) FIGS. 10 to 12 show ice breaking conditions by a conventional icebreaker 50. In this conventional icebreaker 50, when breaking ice, the first
The ice plate 52 was broken as indicated by the dotted line 51 in Figure 0. In this case, near the bow, the ship's side is tilted as shown in E-EII cross section / in Figure 11, so the hull can run onto the ice plate and break the ice plate efficiently with its own weight. 5hold as shown in the F-F cross section in Figure 12.
In the er section, the side of the ship is almost vertical, so it is not possible to run aground on the ice sheet, and conversely, it is stuck on the ice sheet and a high water load is applied to the hull, making it impossible to break the ice sheet efficiently. was there. For this reason, it is 5hold more than before.
There was a need for an icebreaker capable of efficiently breaking ice in the r section.

The first ice body 2 is installed near the draft slewing of the 5holder portion on both sides of the hull 1, and consists of a first ice body body 20 having a triangular side surface and a planar spindle shape, and a lever 21 that extends from the side and supports the first ice body 20. It has been m.

The main body 20 is provided parallel to the ship's side, with a triangular hypotenuse 22 facing the sea surface in front of it. The slope of this oblique side 22 is approximately the same as the slope of the bow member. The main body 20 is pointed downward as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and is adapted to cut the ice plate 52 with this tip.

In this way, there is a blade with a sharp point in front of the first ice body 2,
In other words, the hypotenuse 22 efficiently blocks the ice plate 52 on the outside of the hull.
Since the ice can be broken, the uncrushed ice plate will not hit the 5hOllder part. Therefore, no water load is applied to the 5holder portion, and an increase in ice crushing resistance due to this can be prevented.

The fin main body 30 of the rotating fin 3 has a deformed fan shape when viewed from above.
The sides are spindle-shaped and can be rotated up and down. When breaking ice, the fin main body 30 is tilted at about 20'' to 30° from the horizontal (about the same as the bow angle) as shown in FIG. 6, and the fin main body 3o rides on the ice plate and pushes down the ice plate to break it. This allows the ice sheet to be broken by the ship's own weight, making it more efficient.

If the fin main body 30 is tilted when navigating on a flat tree, water resistance will increase, so it should be horizontal as shown in FIG. 7. In this way, an increase in water resistance can be avoided, and the fins are also effective in preventing pitching of the hull.

Various types of 300-time vJd bridges can be used for the fin body, but in this embodiment, the ones shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 are used. That is, the fin body 30 has a rotating shaft 31 attached thereto, and a rod 32 is fixed to this rotating shaft. A hydraulic cylinder 33 is also attached to the rod 32, and the hydraulic cylinder 33 is connected to a hydraulic pump 36 through hydraulic pipes 34, 35. Therefore, by operating the hydraulic pump 36, oil is sent from the vibrators 34, 35 to the hydraulic cylinder 33, and the piston within the cylinder moves to push the rod 32 and rotate the rotating shaft 31. This provides a structure in which the fin main body 30 is set at a predetermined angle.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, since the icebreaker of the present invention is equipped with an icebreaker near the waterline of the hull, it is possible to efficiently break ice even in the 5-houlder section.
