Although it has excellent mechanical properties and molding workability, it has the drawbacks of large discoloration and significant mechanical deterioration when exposed to light.

The reality is that no material has been obtained that satisfies both light resistance (yellowing resistance and deterioration resistance).

It is a polymeric diol in which the proportion of the raw material component containing aromatic ring 1 in the polymeric diol raw material is 8% by weight or more (hereinafter abbreviated as "I"). If the amount of aromatic rings is less than 8%, the molding processability of the polyurethane resin in inextric molding, extrusion molding, calendar molding, etc. will be poor.
