続作業に適しているが、反面ヒーターバーに対して材料
フィルムの溶接しようとする部分を送り込むものである
から、材料フィルムの寸法は自づから制限されるのであ
り、しかも形状が一定していることが要件とされるので
ある。 これに対して後者はハンディタイプの熱熔着機
であって、据置式の熱熔着機に比べれば作業性は低いが
小ロットの材料や大形の(据置式の熱熔着機にはフィー
トすることの出来ない)材料を処理するのに適している
のである。 第4図は従来のハンディタイプの熱熔着機
の一例を示すもので(特開昭54−159479号参照
)図中符号21はヒーターバー、22はプレスロール、
23は無端状チェーン、24は把手である。 無端状チ
ェーン23は云わば送り装置であって、これで材料フィ
ルムFを挟み付けて回転することにより、機体が材料フ
