Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an arrangement simple and increase strength, by endlessly connecting egg-shaped links with their direction changing by 90 deg. alternately, attaching scrapers at prescribed positions of the chain, and stretching the chain between a driving wheel and a driven wheel. CONSTITUTION:An endless chain 4 is constructed by connecting longitudinal egg-shaped links 4a and lateral egg-shaped links 4b alternately and a scraper 5 is suspended by a U-shaped bolt 7 at every position passing through a plurality of longitudinal links 4a. The chain 4 is stretched between a drive wheel 2 and a driven wheel 3 disposed at opposite ends of a conduit passage 1. With such an arrangement, the scraper can be attached easily and even if material to be conveyed is too heavy, the material to be scraped can be reduced because the chain connected by the egg-shaped links are flexible and the link adjacent to the scraper bends to cause the scraper to deflect. Thus, an arrangement becomes simple and strength is increased.

して卵形リンクを連結したチェンは屈撓自在なので1つ
のスクレーバか浚える物質が過重な場合、このスクレー
バの近傍のリンクは撓んでスクレーバをそらせて浚える
物質の量を少なくシ、余した物質は後続のスクレーバに
浚えさせ、こうしてチェンは無理なく循環動して物質の
搬送をスクレーバに行なわせる。
