Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent welding defects, etc. by pressing the plate stock which is laminated by pinching a plate at the inner part from the both faces thereof and by deforming it plastically by crushing the space at both sides of the plate pinched between as well, then by performing the welding of a resistance welding, etc. CONSTITUTION:Plate stock 1, 1 are arranged by its laminating by pinching a plate 2. A hydraulic cylinder is actuated after performing the welding of the plate stock 1 upto the prescribed position at both sides of the plate 2. In this case, the electrode 5 fitted to a rod 6 presses the plate stock 1 from both faces, subjecting the plate stock 1 and plate 2 to plastic deformation and crushing the gap. Then, the resistance welding is performed by electrifying the electrode 5 and the gap 4 which was not crushed by the plastic deformation can be completely squashed by the pressure of the electrode 5 and the melting of the plate stock 1 and plate 2. In this way, the generation of welding defects is prevented and the operability can be improved as well.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Application of the Invention] The present invention relates to a resistance welding method, in particular, a method in which at least one narrow plate with a width is sandwiched between two plates, and a space is left on both sides of the plate. This invention relates to a resistance welding method suitable for making connections without leaving any residue.

The stainless steel plates used to prevent water leakage are several tens of meters in size, so the edges of the plates are bent and connected to the resistance bath, and laid to fit the size of PJr'h. There is. At this time, in order to connect at least three plates at the square of the plate, as shown in Figure 2, two plates ↓
There is a place where two plates 2 are sandwiched between them, and four plates are brought into contact with the bath at the same time.

Conventionally, such points have been connected by making point bath connections at multiple points, as shown in FIG. However, in such a welding method, gaps 4 are left on both sides of the plate 2 instead of welding, which takes a lot of time, and water flows out through the gaps 4, causing water leakage.

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a plate material sandwiched between plates is pressurized from both sides to plastically deform it so as to crush the gaps on both sides of the plate, and then a full predetermined current is applied to bathe the plate material. [Embodiment of the Invention] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, and the same parts in FIG. 1 as in FIGS. 2 and 3 are designated by the same reference numerals. Reference numerals 5 and 5 serve as electrodes, each of which is attached to a hydraulic ring (not shown) and connected to a welding power source (not shown).

In such a configuration, after welding the plate material 1 to the required positions on both sides of the plate 2, the hydraulic cylinder "fc" is activated, and the electrodes 5 are used to fill soil from both sides of the plate material l, thereby welding the plate material 1 and the plate 2. is plastically deformed to crush the gap 4. In this state, the electrode 5 is energized to perform resistance welding. At this time, the gap 4 that could not be completely crushed due to plastic deformation is also melted by the melting of the plate l and plate 2, or It can be completely crushed by the pressure applied by the electrodes.
