BACKGROUND ART A continuous molding method has conventionally been known as a method for manufacturing molded products such as food containers using synthetic resin sheets. The method will be explained based on FIG.
In the figure, 1 is a synthetic resin sheet wound into a roll, 2
1 is a sheet feeding chain with a large number of claws 3 on its surface, 4 is a heating furnace, and 5 is a mold. Here, the vicinity of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the synthetic resin sheet 1 is hooked by the claws 3 of the sheet feed chain 2, and as the sheet feed chain 2 rotates, the sheet 1
is transported in the direction of arrow a in the figure. The sheet 1 transferred in this way is first heated and softened when passing through the heating furnace 4, and then is formed by pressure forming (or vacuum forming) when supplied to the forming mold 5. Finally, the molded product 8 having the desired shape and structure is continuously manufactured by trimming. Although the above method could be applied to non-foamed synthetic resin sheets and low-foamed synthetic resin sheets with a low expansion ratio, it could not be applied to highly expanded synthetic resin sheets with a high expansion ratio. Highly foamed synthetic resin sheets have low strength and are so-called weak.
In addition, since the rigidity is small, when the pawl 3 of the sheet feed chain 2 catches the sheet, the sheet is broken by the pawl 3, and as a result, the pawl 3 no longer engages with the sheet, and the sheet is transferred in the direction of arrow a in the figure. It was because I wouldn't be able to do it. Conventionally, when manufacturing molded products from highly foamed synthetic resin sheets, a single molding method was used, in which a person manually cut each highly foamed synthetic resin sheet into the desired dimensions using a molding tool. Since the method of feeding the material into the mold had to be adopted, production efficiency was extremely poor.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. 2 and 3 show a foamed synthetic resin sheet 6 for continuous molding according to the present invention, in which at least the portion of the foamed synthetic resin sheet base material 6a that contacts the sheet feeding chain 2, that is, the portion of the base material 6a. A reinforcing member 7 for meshing the sheet feeding chain made of a mesh body is fixed along the longitudinal direction to both end portions in the longitudinal direction. FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which the reinforcing material 7 is fixed to the sheet feeding chain contact portion of the foamed synthetic resin sheet base material 6a. The mesh shape of the reinforcing material 7 may be regularly arranged in the vertical and horizontal directions, or may be arranged randomly. In short, any mesh shape is suitable as long as it reliably catches or meshes with the claws 3 of the sheet feeding chain 2. The mesh size of the net body is preferably about 5 mm.

The material of the reinforcing material 7 for sheet feeding chain meshing is such that when the claws of the sheet feeding chain 2 are caught and a horizontal force is applied, the mesh shape may collapse.
Any material may be used as long as it has enough strength to not break. Examples of this material include metal,
Synthetic resin etc. can be used. Examples of the foamed synthetic resin sheet base material 6a include foamed polyethylene, foamed polystyrene, and foamed polypropylene. The present invention is particularly useful when a highly foamed resin is used as the base material 6a, and more particularly when the foaming ratio is 1 times or more among the highly foamed resins. Note that the present invention is based on the base material 6a.
The present invention is not limited to the case where the resin is a highly foamed resin, but can be implemented in the same manner even when it is a low foamed resin.

As another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, it is also possible to fix a reinforcing material 7 for sheet feed chain engagement to the entire back surface of a foamed synthetic resin sheet base material 6a. In this case, the reinforcing material 7 has enough strength to prevent the mesh shape of the reinforcing material 7 from collapsing or breaking due to the pawls 3 of the sheet feeding chain 2, and the sheet base 6a when molding the molded product. It needs to have appropriate flexibility so that it can be deformed. When the sheet 6 having the above-mentioned structure is used, a molded product having the reinforcing material 7 can be obtained, so that a molded product having the reinforcing effect of the reinforcing material 7 can be obtained.
In each of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the claws 3 of the sheet feeding chain may be brought into contact with the reinforcing member 7 side, or the claws 3 may be brought into contact with the base material 6a side.

FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a reinforcing material 7 for sheet feed chain engagement is fixed between two foamed synthetic resin sheet base materials 6a. This may be fixed to the entire surface of the sheet base material 6a as in FIG. 4, or it may be fixed to both end portions in the longitudinal direction as in FIG. In this case, the reinforcing material 7 is not exposed on the surface of the sheet 6, which is convenient in terms of appearance.

When the foamed synthetic resin sheet 6 of the present invention constructed as described above is continuously molded as shown in FIG. (when the claws 3 are brought into contact with each other), or the claws 3 penetrate into the base material 6a and are caught on the reinforcing material 7 (when the base material 6a and the claws 3 are brought into contact with each other). At this time, in order for the claws 3 to engage with the mesh of the reinforcing material 7 or to hook the mesh, the sheet 6
It is possible to reliably transfer the material in the direction of arrow a without breaking the material.

As explained above, in the present invention, the reinforcing material for meshing the sheet feeding chain made of a mesh is fixed to at least the contact portion of the sheet feeding chain of the foamed synthetic resin sheet base material, so the sheet of the invention can be applied to continuous molding equipment. At this time, the claws of the sheet feeding chain engage or catch the mesh of the reinforcing material, so that the sheet can be transported reliably.
Therefore, according to the sheet of the present invention, it is possible to employ a continuous molding method even for a highly foamed synthetic resin sheet, which has the effect of significantly increasing production efficiency.
