が普通であり、例えば羽根車をモータ等によりス
ラリ貯槽の上部から回転させて当該スラリを撹拌
する撹拌装置や、水平配管をスラリ貯槽の底部に
水平に配置し、空気またはスラリを貯槽内のスラ
リ中に吹き込んで撹拌する撹拌装置等が広く知ら
れている。しかしこれら従来から広く知られた撹
拌装置は、その使用中にいろいろと故障を生じ易
いことも知られている。例えば、羽根車をスラリ
中で回転させる撹拌装置においては、羽根車の羽
根がスラリとの接触によつて摩耗、損耗し易いと
いう問題点がみられる。したがつて摩耗、損耗し
た羽根車の取外し、取替作業のために上記スラリ
貯槽に大きな開口部を設けることが必要となり、
またスラリ貯槽の形状によつては数基の羽根車を
取付けることも必要となる等、きわめて不経済で
あるという問題点がみられた。

に滞留し、特にスラリ液中の固形物が水平配管2
やノズル3を閉塞させることになる。このように
水平配管2やノズル3の閉塞を防止するために、
供給する空気またはスラリの供給圧を高くするこ
とが必要となり、設備費が増大する欠点があつ
た。また、空気やスラリの供給を停止した場合に
は水平配管2内に固形物が堆積し、撹拌装置の再
起動時に水平配管2やノズル3に閉塞が生じ、撹
拌や混合が不可能になる現象がしばしばみられ
た。

貯槽1の底部に向けて吹き込み、あるいは噴出さ
せることによつてスラリ貯槽1の流動物を撹拌、
混合するものである。上記≪少なくとも一部≫と
は、垂直分岐配管6を経て降下させ下端開口7か
ら噴出させる空気または流動物は、母管5から供
給される量の全部である必要はなく、状況により
供給量の一部を使用することもあることを意味す
る記述である。これにより、下端開口7内にスラ
リ液等が逆流することがあつても、逆流したスラ
リ液を垂直分岐配管6の外へ噴出する際の抵抗は
下降流であるために極めて小さく、特に空気やス
ラリの供給を停止した場合でも、スラリ中の固形

を形成することも不要であり、実施構造が簡単で
あるため経済性の面でもきわめて有利である。
