The zero-yon calculation means calculates the zero-yon T from the following formula, assuming that the time measurement data of the above-mentioned time measurement means at this time is T.
Calculate z. The display means displays zero yon TZ.

The display unit 5 is a segment light emitting diode (
A four-digit number display section 51 consisting of LEDs) and a bar graph display section 52 consisting of eight surface-emitting LEDs arranged in series. The numerical display section 51 displays zero-yon data, and the bar graph display section 52 displays instantaneous acceleration data in units of 0.5G (G is gravitational acceleration).

If the vehicle speed signal is not received for a certain period of time or more (step 102), it is determined that the vehicle is stopped, and the DP flag is cleared (step 103), and the number display section 51 is cleared (step 104). Thereafter, when the vehicle starts running and the vehicle speed signal 2a is input a predetermined number of times (twice in this embodiment) (step 105), the clock pulses inside the computer 3 begin to be counted (step 106).

Here, the distance traveled within the above-mentioned time Tc is stored in the memory VN by the vehicle speed signal count program shown in FIG. 4, which is interruptedly executed every time the vehicle speed signal 2a is input.
