Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は電子式光学表示時計に関するもので、
さらに詳述すると表示パネルが時計体に対して単
独に取りはずし可能に構成される電子式光学表示
時計における表示パネルの案内方式に関する。

以下実施例を図面に従つて説明する。第1図は
本考案の一実施例を示す時計体の表示パネル部組
立平面図、第2図は第1図の組立断面図である。
1は周知の液晶パネルで、表示電極の主パターン
と回路結合の為の端子パターンが印刷され、外形
形状が四辺形の上パネルガラス2と、上パネルガ
ラス2と比較し回路結合端子パターン部が露出す
る様に、一方向だけが多少小さめの四辺形の外形
形状より成る下パネルガラス3の間に液晶が封入
され、上パネルガラスの上面に上偏光板4、下パ
ネルガラス3の下面に下偏光板5及び反射板6が
一体に接着固定されている。こうした液晶パネル
1は、プラスチツク材より成るパネル枠7に平面
案内され、表示パネルの表示及び駆動要素等を配
置した回路基板8と、周知のゼブラ形導電ゴムよ
り成るコネクター9より導通し、パネル押え10
と共に、時計基枠にネジ止め固定されている。
尚、液晶パネル1とパネル枠7との関係を詳述す
ると、液晶パネル1は、液晶パネルの平面外形形
状に対応した形状の凹部形状を有するパネル枠7
に、基本的には全周案内されて組込まれるが、形
状公差を考えると、液晶パネル1とパネル枠7は
全周スキマとなる場合が大多数で液晶パネルが傾
いて取り付けられ、結果として表示文字が見切板
等の見切形状11に対して傾いてしまい、外観上
非常に見苦しい時計となつてしまう。しかし本考
案の時計は、パネル枠の案内支持を、液晶パネル
1の外形形状を構成する長辺側の相対する二面の
一方の面1Aに係合する支持部7A,7Bと、も
う一方の面1Bに前記支持部7A,7Bと二等辺
三角形を形成する様な位置に、支持部7A,7B
方向に液晶パネルを弾圧する様なバネ性を有する
支持部7Cとを構成してあり、液晶パネルの傾き
が全くない外観上非常に有利な時計となつてい
る。さらに、バネ性を有する支持部7Cの左・右
には、液晶パネル及びパネル枠の加工公差を加味
し、前記液晶パネルの一端面1Bに係合する位置
に、7A・7Bと同様の補助固定支持部7D・7
Eを配置することにより、過大な衝撃力印加時の
液晶パネル1のズレ防止及びバネ性支持部7Cの
破損防止を図つている。
