Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cooler which is increased in its life stably inexpensively without decreasing cooling performance by forming a cooling tube burying groove at a cooling plate, inserting filler mainly containing thermal conductive metal powder with adhesive by coating to the cooling tube, and then press-contacting with retaining strip. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped groove 2a having a semicircular bottom side having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of a cooling tube 5 of thin-wall copper tube in section is formed at a cooling plate 2 of aluminum plate, the tube 5 coated with filler 6 mainly containing powder such as copper or aluminum having excellent thermal conductivity and nonmagnetic property with adhesive on the entire outer periphery is inserted to the groove 2a, and a retaining strip 6 having a semicircular recess having the same shape as the bottom of the groove 2a at one side in section is engaged and welded thereto. Gaps among the groove 2a, the inner wall of the strip 7 and the tube 5, i.e., a space buried with the filler 5 are preferably three times as large as the diameter of the powder particles of the filler 6. Thus, since the filler 6 is not escaped from the gaps, the strip 7 and the hole of the groove 2a may be bonded by spot welding 8 in a range for holding the pressed state of the retaining strip 7.

As conventional devices of this type, those shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 are known for use with circular coils. In the figure, a hollow circular cooling plate 2 made of an aluminum plate, which is an excellent non-magnetic material, is pressure-welded to both sides of a circular coil 10, and a plurality of through holes 2a provided around the cooling plate 20 are used to press the cooling plate 2. A stud 3 with threads on both ends
The fastening method with Toto4 is adopted. Inside the cooling plate 2, there is a non-magnetic plate for circulating the cooling liquid multiple times along the circumference. A cooling pipe 5 made of a thin-walled steel pipe is buried, and before burying the cooling pipe 5 in the cooling plate 2, the cooling pipe 5 is
A method is adopted in which the shape and position of the aluminum are determined, and then the aluminum is cast with molten aluminum. However, since the melting temperature of aluminum material is as high as approximately 1000 degrees Celsius, during casting, the surface of the cooling tube 5 comes into contact with the molten aluminum material and an alloy metal is formed between the two metals, and when this becomes activated, a phenomenon called eutectic occurs. Therefore, in the case of thin-walled steel pipes, there is a risk of small holes being formed, and casting requires a mold and special equipment, making the equipment expensive.

The main point of this invention is to achieve the above-mentioned object by providing a cooling plate made of a non-magnetic metal material press-welded to both sides of a circular coil, and a cooling plate embedded in the cooling plate and disposed along the side surface of the circular coil. A cooling device having a cooling pipe, wherein a U-shaped groove is provided on one or both sides of the cooling plate and has a semicircular base whose cross section is slightly larger than the diameter of the cooling pipe, in which the cooling pipe can be buried; A filler containing an adhesive mainly made of non-magnetic metal powder is applied to the entire outer circumference of the cooling pipe, and the U-shaped groove has a cross section capable of closing the opening of the U-shaped groove, and a U-shaped groove bottom on one side. It has the same semicircular recess as the cooling plate, and is constructed of a holding strip made of the same material as the cooling plate welded to the cooling plate, so that the cooling properties are not deteriorated (to reduce the cost).

FIG. 1 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of essential parts of an embodiment of a cooling device for a liquid-cooled coil according to the present invention. ing. In the figure, a cooling plate 2 made of an aluminum plate is provided with a U-shaped groove 2b having a semicircular base whose cross section is slightly larger than the diameter of a cooling pipe 5 made of a thin-walled steel pipe. A cooling pipe 5 coated with a filler 6 containing an adhesive mainly composed of powder of copper, aluminum, etc. with excellent magnetic properties is inserted over the entire outer circumference, and a groove 2b having a U-shaped cross section on one side is inserted into the cooling pipe 5. A presser strip 7 recessed in a semicircular shape similar to the bottom part of is fitted and welded. In this embodiment, the U-shaped groove is formed from only one side, but it goes without saying that it may be formed from both sides. The gap between the U-shaped groove 2b and the inner wall of the holding strip 7 and the cooling pipe 5, that is, the space filled with the filler 6, is 3 times larger than the particle size of the powder constituting the filler 6.
(By doing this, the presser foot 7
The filling material 6 is removed from the gap created between the U-shaped groove 2b and the opening of the U-shaped groove 2b.
Since the presser strip 7 and the opening of the U-shaped groove 2b do not come off, the presser strip 7 and the opening of the U-shaped groove 2b may be spot welded 8 within a range where the pressurized state of the presser strip 7 is maintained. Mutual heat exchange between cooling pipe 5 and cooling plate 2 is 9
As shown by the arrow, cooling is performed around the entire circumference of the cooling pipe 5, so there is no deterioration in cooling performance, and since no casting mold or casting equipment is required, the cost is reduced, and there are advantages in that the cooling pipe 5 does not need to be perforated.
