At road joints, we used joints in which steel toothed plates were interlocked with some play and concrete was cast behind them, and rubber plates were bridged over the gaps in the joints and buried in the concrete. Various types of joints, such as joints fixed to anchor bars, have been constructed, but usually the concrete part on the back is more susceptible to being hit by vehicles than joints made of steel or rubber. It wears out quickly and creates a step between the joint member and the concrete part. Therefore, this difference in level deteriorates the running performance of the vehicle, and the impact when the vehicle passes over the difference in level can cause cracks in the concrete, early damage to the joint members, and even noise.
There were problems with vibrations and other road pollution. In addition, in road bridges built in snowy areas, vehicles often have chains attached to their wheels or use spiked tires, and the number of times snowplows drive is increased. There is a problem in that the chains and spiked tires increase the impact when a vehicle passes by, and the scraper of the snowplow collides with the joint member, damaging the joint member.

On the other hand, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 56-33303, there has been a proposal to provide a flat plate, that is, a horizontal protection member, in the concrete portion of the road joint. However, in the case of this proposal, it is necessary to attach an anchor to the protective member in order to prevent it from peeling off during use, and the protective member is slightly bent by the wheel load of the vehicle, resulting in poor running performance. It is a shame that it not only causes damage, but also is not very durable.

In view of this point, the present invention provides a protection reinforcing member with a simple structure that can protect joint members and concrete parts at road joints, and eliminates the above-mentioned conventional problems. That is, the protection reinforcement member according to the present invention is a vertical plate-like body with a substantially vertical plate surface, and a horizontal part that matches the height of the road surface is formed at the front of the upper end. Next, a sloped part is formed at the rear of the upper end that slopes downward to the rear, and the front end of the horizontal part faces the back of the joint member and comes into contact with the through line extending in the longitudinal direction of the road joint. It is characterized in that it is connected together and placed in the concrete part of the road joint.

Road joints are provided with a large number of intersecting reinforcing bars, such as distribution bars in the bridge axis direction, stirrup bars in the vertical direction, and main bars in the longitudinal direction of the joint, and it is difficult to provide a plate-like member separate from these reinforcing bars due to space considerations. Although it is very difficult to do so, the protective reinforcing member is placed in contact with and connected to the through-bar, so while the through-bar is connected to the existing reinforcing bar, the protective reinforcing member is placed on top of the through-bar. This makes it easy to construct protective reinforcing members at road joints without causing interference with existing reinforcing bars.

At the time of construction, as shown in FIG.
Put it in. Then, a setter 25 having a height corresponding to the thickness of the joint member 10 and the seal plate 14 and a width corresponding to the width of the joint member 10 is attached to the lower surface of the horizontal rod 24. Both ends of the horizontal rod 24 are installed on the upper surfaces of the pavements 21, 21 on both sides of the cutout steps 17, 17. In this case, when the pavement 21 is not applied, a pillow material having a height comparable to the thickness of the pavement is placed on the upper surface of the floor slab, and the horizontal beams 24 are placed on the pillow material. Next, the anchor bolt 15 is connected to the setter 25 with a nut, and the protective reinforcing member 1 is lifted up to the horizontal part 4.
is set at the same height as the road surface 9, and in this state, the contact points of the protection reinforcement member 1, the through reinforcement 20, the stirrup reinforcement 18, and the reinforcement reinforcement 19 are connected by welding or the like, and the protection reinforcement member 1 is held. That is, the protection reinforcing member 1 has a through-stripe 20 connected to the stirrup muscle 18.
It is supported by abutment on top of and connected to this thread 20. Incidentally, during this connection, the protective reinforcing member 1 may be temporarily fixed to the horizontal rod 24 with a wire or the like. After that, cutout step part 1
Concrete is poured into 7 to form a post-cast concrete portion 8, and the protective reinforcing member 1 and anchor bolt 15 are fixed. Then, the horizontal rod 24 and setter 25 are removed, and the seal plate 14 and joint member 10 are fixed to the anchor bolt 15 with nuts. Next, the sealing material 22 and the covering material 23 are filled onto the U-shaped expandable portion at the center of the sealing plate 14, and the construction is completed. Note that the protection reinforcing member 1 may be attached after the setter 25 is suspended from the horizontal rod 24 and placed at a predetermined position.

In the above-mentioned joint 7, since the horizontal part 4 of the protection reinforcing member 1 is aligned with the road surface 9, the tires of the vehicle often pass over the horizontal part 4, and the post-cast concrete part 8 is used for each protection reinforcement. Part 1
There is almost no wear on the parts located between the horizontal parts 4. Therefore, the occurrence of a level difference at the boundary between the joint member 10 and the post-cast concrete part 8 is prevented, and the horizontal part 4 is at the same height as the joint member 10, so that a good vehicle can be achieved. Runnability can be maintained for a long period of time. In particular, in this embodiment, since the interval between the protection reinforcing members 1 is narrower than the tire width, the tire always passes over the horizontal part 4 of the protection reinforcing member 1, and the joint member 10 and the post-cast concrete part 8 are connected to each other. Rutting of the post-cast concrete part 8 at the boundary part hardly occurs.

On the other hand, the post-cast concrete portion 8 may wear on and behind the sloped portion 5 of the protection reinforcement member 1, which may lead to exposure of the slope portion 5. The boundary line with poured concrete part 8 is finger-shaped (wavy)
and the vehicle's tires are on the slope 5.
Since there is a smooth transition from the upper part to the horizontal part 4, there is no adverse effect on the running performance of the vehicle.

In addition, snowplows often run on road bridges built in snowy regions, but even if the sloped portion 5 of the protection reinforcement member 1 is exposed, the grader of the snowplow will slide on the sloped portion 5. A large impact is not applied to the protection reinforcing member 1 and the joint member 10, and damage to the members 1 and 10 is prevented.

In addition, since the gap S is provided between the front end surface 3 of the protection reinforcement member 1 and the joint member 10,
Even if the blade of the snowplow hits the protective reinforcing member 1, the impact at that time is not transmitted to the joint member 10,
Damage to the joint member 10 is prevented. In the above embodiment, concrete is interposed in the gap S, but a cushion material such as rubber may be interposed in the gap S. In that case, a cushion material may be fixed to the front end surface 3 of the protection reinforcing member 1 in advance.

In particular, since the protective reinforcing member of the present invention is of a vertical type with the board surface approximately vertical, the lower part is deeply embedded in the concrete part, which solves the conventional problem of peeling off from the concrete part. Since the through-bars can be connected to the existing reinforcing bars and then connected on top of the through-bars, construction is easy, and the protective reinforcing member can be solidified in a relatively short period of time without requiring any skill. It has the excellent effect of providing high load-bearing strength.
