In furnaces such as drying furnaces, painting furnaces, baking furnaces, etc. in which processed products are frequently moved in and out of the furnace, hot air inside the furnace leaks out from the entrances and exits to the surrounding area, worsening the working environment. Conventionally, in order to prevent this hot air from leaking, for example, as shown in the tunnel furnace (baking furnace) in Figs. 2 was installed to deal with this problem. In this furnace, an air seal part 5 is provided in the furnace near the entrance/exit 1, through which the hot air inside the furnace is forced to circulate.
Even if the exhaust hood 2 was installed, leakage of hot air could not be prevented. The reasons for this are that a chimney effect occurs near this entrance (hot air rises and surrounding cold air flows into this area), that the air flow is disturbed as the processed products enter and exit the furnace, and that There may be an imbalance between the air and the surrounding air. In addition, in Figs. 1 and 2,

The purpose of the present invention is to more completely prevent the leakage of hot air in the furnace from the entrance and exit of the furnace, and as a device to achieve this purpose, as shown in the embodiments shown in Figs. 3 to 7. An exhaust hood 2 is installed above the entrance/exit 1 of the furnace to suck the air near the entrance/exit upward, and an air supply duct 3 is installed along the lower edge of the hood 2 to form an air curtain downward. The present invention provides a leak prevention device for hot air in a furnace, in which a baffle plate 4 is installed in the hood 2 to constrict the flow of air taken into the hood 2.

FIG. 3 shows a side vertical cross-section of the hot air leak prevention device of the present invention installed at the entrance/exit 1 of the baking furnace (for example, an automobile paint baking oven) shown in FIG. 1, and FIG.
The figure shows a front vertical cross section of the exhaust hood 2, in which an exhaust hood 2 having a width larger than the width of the entrance 1 is installed in a rectangular shape at the upper part of the outside of the entrance 1, projecting from the entrance 1, and the lower end of the square exhaust hood 2 is shown. Inside, there is an air supply duct 3a in the direction along the width of the entrance/exit 1, and air supply ducts 3b on both sides in the direction perpendicular to it.
Each of the U-shaped air supply ducts 3a, 3b has a slit 11 installed in the horizontal direction, and a slit 11 is provided below the U-shaped air supply ducts 3a, 3b to form a downward air jet vertical wall flow.
(slits for forming an air curtain) are provided. Therefore, when high-pressure air (15 to 20 mmAq) is supplied to the air supply ducts 3a, 3b by the fan 12, an air curtain surrounding the entrance/exit 1 is formed outside the entrance/exit 1.

On the other hand, inside the exhaust hood 2, as schematically shown in FIG. 5, a roof-shaped baffle plate 4 is installed so that the roof covers the air supply ducts 3a, 3b. In the illustrated example, inside the exhaust hood 2, a gabled roof is formed just above the entrance/exit 1, with its gable positioned above the air supply duct 3a. . The lower edge (U-shaped) of this roof-type baffle plate 4 is connected to the air supply duct 3a,
It is installed with a slight gap from the hood 3b, and air is taken into the hood 2 through this gap (slit). In other words, air is introduced into the exhaust hood 2 from the vicinity of the air supply ducts 3a and 3b while being constricted by the baffle plate 4, and the speed of the air when flowing through this gap (slit) is 2 to 4 m. /sec
It is designed to be relatively fast. For this purpose, the gap is preferably a slit with a width of 2 to 3 cm.

In this way, the exhaust gas taken into the exhaust hood 2 is compressed and the speed is increased, and as a result, the efficiency of capturing air in the lower space of the exhaust hood 2 is increased, and
Since hot air is blocked by an air curtain below the supply air ducts 3a and 3b, the causes of conventional hot air leakage mentioned above are eliminated, and hot air leakage is effectively prevented. . The speed of air blown out from the air supply ducts 3a, 3b for forming this air curtain is preferably about 3 to 5 m/sec.

FIG. 6 shows a slide damper 1 that has an opening 12 in the baffle plate 4 and adjusts the opening amount of the opening 12.
3 shows an embodiment in which the wind speed of the air taken into the exhaust hood 2 can be controlled by installing the exhaust hood 2. In other words, by adjusting the opening amount with this slide damper 13, the wind speed in the aforementioned contraction section can be freely controlled, and the optimal collection efficiency can be adjusted according to the air curtain wind speed and the situation inside the furnace. This makes it possible to adjust the intake wind speed of the exhaust gas.

FIG. 7 shows an embodiment in which the baffle plate 4 is formed into a hollow air passage. By flowing high-temperature air through this hollow air passage, the baffle plate 4 will be appropriately heated, and moisture in the exhaust gas or vapors of various substances generated from inside the furnace can be prevented from condensing here. . For example, in the case of the paint baking furnace shown in Fig. 1, solvent vapor flows out from the inlet/outlet 1, but this comes into contact with the surrounding cold air and condenses in the exhaust hood 2. When this condensate drips, it The generation of this condensate can be effectively prevented, although it may cause surface defects on the products passing through.

The high temperature air introduced into this baffle plate 4 is as follows:
For example, when hot air is supplied into the furnace as shown in FIG. 1, part of the hot air may be used. For example, a portion of the hot air supplied to the hot air blowing device 7 shown in FIG. 1 may be introduced into the baffle plate 4, and the hot air that has passed through the baffle plate 4 may be returned to the furnace. 7th

As explained above, according to the present invention, the leakage of furnace gas and hot air from the furnace entrance and exit, which conventionally deteriorated the working environment, can be prevented by reducing the air flow blown out by the air curtain and the air flow sucked into the exhaust hood. The present invention provides an in-furnace hot air leakage prevention device that can be prevented through appropriate control, and can greatly contribute to environmental improvement in this field.
