[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to packaging containers, and more specifically, packaging containers made of processed thin synthetic resin sheets are particularly suitable for use in applications where the contents must be strictly protected, such as electronic components. The present invention relates to a packaging container that can be used as a packaging container.

Conventional packaging containers made from sheet processing, with an open top surface and used by stacking multiple tiers of identical packaging containers on top of each other, have vertical ribs and horizontal ribs for storing electronic components, such as LSIs. It has square-shaped sections made of ribs. These vertical and horizontal ribs can only be formed by a processing method that stretches the sheet sufficiently, and packaging containers are usually created by a vacuum forming method. Sheet processing using this vacuum forming method is possible when the sheet thickness is 1 mm or less.
For example, since a thin sheet of 0.15 mm is processed and molded, the parts of the vertical ribs and horizontal ribs that come into contact with the mold are formed into a tapered shape that is always pinched upward to release the mold. This prevents the sheet from tearing or deforming during molding, and due to this taper, when packaging containers are stacked, they will stack up against the ribs of the packaging container above and sink, resulting in good stackability. However, this conflicts with the need to sufficiently protect items with low strength, such as LSIs, and to stack as many layers as possible without affecting the contents. Although it is easy to form a flange on a packaging container by using an injection molding method, such a method and stack prevention means cannot be adopted due to sheet thickness, etc., and there are technical difficulties. .

This idea was made in view of the above points,
The purpose of this is to create a packaging container that is vacuum-formed from thin sheets of synthetic resin, has an open top surface, and has multiple ribs formed inside to allow stacking. A packaging container characterized in that the cross-sectional shape of the rib is inversely tapered so that the width of the upper edge of the rib of the lower packaging container to be supported is larger than the width of the lower opening edge of the rib of the upper packaging container. There is something to offer.

In the plan view of the packaging container 10 shown in FIG. 1, vertical ribs 12 and horizontal ribs 1 have a rectangular overall shape.
The interior of the packaging container 10, whose periphery is formed by 4 and whose upper surface is open, is further provided with vertical ribs 12 and horizontal ribs 1
The area is subdivided into a large number of square shapes by a grid of 4. A large number of small spaces formed by the vertical ribs 12, horizontal ribs 14, and bottom surface portion 16 serve as storage areas for electronic components and the like. As shown in FIG. 3, the vertical ribs 12 and horizontal ribs 14 are made of a thin general-purpose resin that is vacuum-formed to have a U-shaped cross section that protrudes upward, and this U-shaped cross section is inverted as shown in FIG. It has a tapered shape.

Forming ribs with such a cross-sectional shape is not done because when using a vacuum forming method, the back jet of air during mold release can cause problems such as breakage and deformation of the sheet part of the product, such as wrinkles. It is something that has not been done yet. However, the inventor of the present invention applied a mold release agent such as Teflon to the mold surface, or made only one of the two pairs of wall surfaces of the vertical mold rib into a tapered shape. In this field, where it was considered impossible to obtain a perfect product, we were able to obtain a product with sufficient appearance and strength without difficulty, and this made the present invention possible. be.

In other embodiments, there may be a very large number of square-shaped parts, or there may be a single square-shaped part. The tiered portion 22 and horizontal flange portion 24 may be provided at the peripheral edge of the packaging container.

In this way, when the present invention is used, even if many identical packaging containers are stacked on top of an extremely low-cost packaging container made of thin sheets, the ribs of other packaging containers will not sink into the ribs, and the ribs will prevent the ribs from sinking into the ribs. Since it maintains sufficient strength, it can sufficiently protect the stored contents from the front, back, left and right, and top and bottom.
